The media could not be loaded.  Since Greg messed up my sofa several times, I almost gave up. He scratched the surface and my kid spilled smoothies on the sofa sometimes has driven me crazy. Then I did my research and seeking the product both feature WATERPROOF and THICK enough. I don't usually write reviews, but I really recommend this cover. Good deal.

Short version: The waterproof layer in this couch cover doesn't survive when washed according to instructions. Don't waste your money.Long version: We purchased the cover because we have cat whom we love dearly, but has... issues. His favorite place to have those issues is on our couch. We figured a couch cover was a good investment; perhaps we should have not picked the lowest priced cover. At first we were pleased by the amount of padding and the grippy rubber backing. We put it straight on the couch as we'd just had it cleaned and were having guests over. A few days later, cat had a mistake, and the cover worked great. Threw the cover in the wash as per the directions... back on the couch... and it was no longer waterproof.I'll give the company credit: when I contacted them about the issue, they quickly offered a refund or replacement. (Hence why they get 2 stars instead of 1) We picked replacement... we should have just taken the refund. They sent us a second one, and it was the same thing all over again. I was tempted to air dry the cover, but the instructions said Tumble Low. I figured it ought to hold up to the instructions they'd printed on their label. Nope. I took pictures this time and sent it to the company. They said they'd check with their technician... and then replied that the washing must be the problem and that they will improve the quality in the future. And that was it. So, don't waste your money, this is a low quality item that doesn't work. I don't have money to lose on things like this, and I feel like I should have known better.

I have two dogs and three kids. My little corgi/dachshund and my youngest child are both in the potty training stage so I was looking specifically for something to save my couch from all the pee. I also have a big pit bull as well as two older, very energetic children and needed something that would stay in place.This cover did not help me with either of my problems.I don't know how this product is non-slip. It is basically like I have a blanket on my couch. The strap that is hooked on each side and goes around the back is practically useless. The top still falls down and looks ridiculous. I grabbed my sewing machine. I folded the top about 4 inches and sewed it so the strap can go all the way through the top to help keep the cover secure on the back. This helps.Unfortunately, this cover needs much more stability. One climb onto the couch by dog or child and the whole thing moves just like a blanket would. I fix this cover a million times a day.- It used to be 2 million before I altered it myself.As for my couch wetters- my couch still gets wet. Even if the "spill" just happened. So on top of deep cleaning my couch cushions, I now have the added task of washing this useless cover.Why have I not thrown it away or returned it, you ask? It does save the couch from getting filthy from dog hair and dirt. So I am putting up with it until I continue my extensive research into another cover that will be worth my money.

Purchased to protect new leather couch. The cover is difficult to keep in place, even with the non-skid backing it "walks". After using for about 2 weeks, went to reposition cover today & noticed several areas on couch surface where finish had been removed, and was now on the non-skid backing. We live in an area that doesn't get much above 80°, have had zero spills of any liquid (or anything else) on the cover. Non-skid backing is tacky to the touch, which may be part of the problem. Nonetheless, we are now faced with having to find someone who can repair the leather finish on our new couch, as there is no way to reach the manufacturer regarding this issue. We are beyond disappointed.

We purchased this back in March for we have pets and kids and our couch was newer at the time so wanted the protection. Well it finally was put to the test and it failed. Our cat decided to urinate on the couch and it went right through. We even had just a blanket underneath that it soaked through that as well. This was no help and we spent over $100 on 3 covers. We purchased this for it was more couch covers then just a waterproof blanket. We should have just stuck with the blanket we had boughten before for that’s holding up well.

We renovated our home and wanted to ensure protection for a new leather sectional sofa. Finding covers that 1) do what they are supposed to do and 2) fit a sectional - is not an easy task. We read the reviews on this product and knew these were what we wanted. We ordered to of the largest sizes and then measured our sectional, cut and sewed them (with a sewing machine) to ensure the proper fit. They are PERFECT! Not only do they match the color of our sectional perfectly, but we even poured water on them to make sure they stood up to the water resistance feature and guess what - they do! VERY COMFORTABLE and the rubber backing is perfect as they do not slide when you sit on them. . We keep these on all the time and when company comes, we remove them. They wash beautifully! We have animals (2 dogs and 4 cats) and while in the past they laid all over our furniture, they no longer do - who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. LOL. We are so happy with this product and highly recommend them!!! You won't be sorry!

Initially it was waterproof but once I washed it because my cat peed on it. It was no longer waterproof. I followed the instructions for washing since I read other reviews about it losing its waterproof ability. This is useless if you can't wash it.

Love itcovers my extra large sofa

Bought this as a couch cover because it is supposed to be anti slip. Well it does bnot stay on properly, the starp is to long and even though it is adjusted tightly, I find myself having to fix it every 5 minutes.

This is an excellent cover and the oversized couch cover is very large. Great for protected your couch against pet urine accidents. Cleans and drys very well and keeps its shape and protective qualities.
