Too dim for 921; 922 OK. Some modification may be necessary.
I was replacing the 922 bulbs in my HMCSL. The LEDs were the same brightness for that. However, these LED bulbs are supposed to also be for 921, but that is higher wattage than 922, so these bulbs are probably a little too dim to directly replace 921s. Also, I found that my bulb receptacle was too narrow between the electrical contact leads to fit the LED assemblies, as there is a chip (capacitor? driver circuit?) right there that makes the assembly too thick to install. I used my pocket knife to cut down the plastic ridges in the receptacles, and was then able to force the LED bulb into place. Works great otherwise!

Nice and bright
I got this led light to replace my third brake light on my truck and it is brighter than the old halogen lights.

After being scammed by another online LED company, I decided to purchase this from Amazon and I am so pleased! I only needed one light but it was so cheap, I went ahead and purchased the pair for $11.99 I can put the other 3rd LED brake light on another car. Perfect fit!

Plug n Play
It does what it is supposed to do. Plug it in, that's all. No flickering or any other issues. It's brighter than the OEM bulbs, but not as bright as I hoped.
