Screw Top Round Steel Tin Can, 1oz (24 Per Pack)

I was not sure I would like the screw top lids... I thought it would be messy when I poured my tinctures in there for them to harden up and be creams but I was wrong about that! They are so handy and look so neat and professional for my items! I can give these to all of my friends and family for the holidays and feel like they are getting a nice looking, quality product now to go in with the rest of their stuff. 1 ounce is almost 2 inches across! I also really like knowing that no plastic chemicals are seeping into my Organic tinctures... You know, I spend $50 on the stuff I put into the balms and make 20 of them and then worry about the plastic cracking(from the heat of my mixture) or breaking down or seeping the chemicals into it. My husband works at a plastic bottle factory and the plastic is processed from First motor oil, then recycled after the motor oil has been used in a car(vehicle) engine. Second the used motor oil is broken down to be used as Antifreeze. Third the used antifreeze is processed again and turned into plastic bottles for your food and storage containers etc... I am happy I do not need to worry about that in my Organic body products now.. I will buy these metal screw top tins again they are perfect for my needs.

Exactly what we needed, and great to find here on Amazon. We make organic homemade lip/hair/skin balms. These are great for our smaller mixes. They are 1oz. Each one is individually packed in a little plastic wrappers within a box, so none are scratched at all... good packing. We haven't had any problems with the lids, every single one so far has worked exactly how you'd expect. Just like the product picture.

I read reviews on many similar items. I took a chance on these and they are great! One of my concerns were reviews stating they were too difficult to unscrew. I had no problems and I have arthritis in my hands and fingers. They worked great for a home made nose/paw wax for dogs that were included as prizes during our annual PAWS walk to support the shelter where I volunteer. I can see them working great for a lip conditioner and lip scrub I plan to make. Will definitely reorder.

Great lip balm containers! The top is large enough to place my label. I have tried these for creams, but I don't recommend use for anything water based, as they seem to rust. Herbal salves would be another great use for these high quality tins.

I love these in comparison to the non screw type variety . When you have your hands in salve, lotion etc it's slippy and hard to get the lids off the other variety. The screw tops are very nice and don't suction down like the others do which make it perfect for moisturizers and balms .

I bought these to store my homemade salve in them. The salve is a little softer than Vaseline, and I found that it leaks in my purse. I love the look of the steel, and they feel very nice when you hold them, but I wouldn't use it to store things that are semi liquid. Possibly a sturdy balm that doesn't melt in warm temps.

Not thrilled. They are nice and sturdy. Size is what we wanted, however, the lids DO NOT fit. The lids side down over the bottom threads rather than screwing on. Just dropped one due to the supremely loose lid. Wish I had realized this sooner. I'd have sent them back.

The screw top was a bit of an issue until I worked with it a bit - press down gently and works perfectly. They came individually packaged in a clear plastic bag which I LOVE...that is definitely a plus when you are reselling the tins with items in them. I will buy these again when my regular (less expensive) source is out.
