PrestoPressure Cooker Steam Gauge For Deluxe Canners

I got this as a replacement I left mine on the pot over winter in my storage building and it never worked again so rembemer to store this part in a warm area .

Replaced the other one that broke when temps dropped and froze. Easy to put on.

Works fine and the price was reasonable

This gauge didn't come with the seal or nut for the bottom. The first time I used the canner, the gauge filled up with water. It worked, but it will rust because it's not sealed. Very poor quality, look elsewhere.

Did not work for my Deluxe canner.

Gauge was probably fine, but the washers(2) and nut required for installation were not included. Unable to use these parts from the original gauge I was replacing because the thread on the new gauge did not match the old nut. Feel like the picture of the gauge (washer and nut visible) is a misrepresentation of what you receive in the box, since the washer and gauge are not included in the purchase. Bought 4 units - none of the boxes contained these parts.

The guage came without the rubber washer, metal washer, and threaded nut that is necessary to attach it to the pressure canner. When I subsequently ordered the hardware separately (directly from Presto), I discovered that the thread on this guage is different from the thread on the original guage, so it does not match the thread on the nut. Very disappointing; two months and two separate orders later and I am still scrambling around looking for hardware to attach this.
