Great video capture without having to spend $300 plus.
I'm an actor and I've had a backlog of shows I've done that have been in trapped in my DVR. I needed to get them into my computer so I could start building a reel of past work. I did a lot of research and landed on this product. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to impress me I was just looking for something that could get the job done. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The product worked perfectly with no issues. After I connected it to my computer it was recognized and ready to go in about 40 seconds. OBS found it without trouble. Sound and video quality were great! I couldn't have been happier. This is a great product, for video capture. I can't speak to it's live streaming features as I have not utilized them.

I bought this capture video and other different model plink 3 capture video on same day. By The Way... IF you use this in Windows 10 OR BELOW only!!! You can't use this in Windows 11. It does not work!!!!!!! Because this capture video is OLD! If your Windows 11, go to buy Plink 3 !!!!!! Yep Plink 3 works in Windows 11. Yep yep yep yep

Great For Getting Your DVR Recordings Off The Box For Archiving
I used this to record the Dish DVR recordings from the cable box to the pc. For this to work unplug the hdmi cable from the TV and into this device. You connect the usb from the computer to the Pyle. You will have to download OBS Studio to a good quality computer. And you will have to let the show play entirely. Don't press any buttons on the remote after recording has started. Make sure the microphone option on OBS is muted and turned all the way down. Also test the recordings out to make sure the audio and video are in sync. If you have a smart TV you can use the apps while this is recording on your cable/satellite box.

We bought this for church streaming services and it works exactly how it is described. I give it a five-star review.

Pyle Video Capture device works great for streaming all kinds of video sources
For the most part, I'd consider this product to be plug and play. I have had success with video streaming using both a Windows 10 PC and a MacBook Pro (Catalina 10.15.4). I have struggled with figuring out how to stream audio along with the video on my Mac. I am using OBS on both of my computers.

Picture is grainy
It was easy to use but the pictures were grainy, I had HD 1080p movies, Transferred to my computer with HDMI fro camera to converter to USB. Got very bad results no matter what program I used, even the OBS Studio they recommended. I think I'll return it.

Find a better brand
The product worked for a week with no problem. As time went on it became harder to be read on my laptop and now it doesn't work completely The sound inputs were completely off . Videos would be spot on or just terrible . I honestly don't recommend this brand
