UPDATE 03/13/2023As with any dog toy or dog chew toy, supervision is still required while your fur baby is enjoying their Bullibone. Dogs will chew off small, sharp pieces and ingest them. When this happens, I take the bone away fir the rest of the day. My dog has never had a problem passing the ingested pieces, but I do not allow her to ingest too much. Also, please realize the shaft is not a thick solid piece. It can really be chewed down and the pieces ingested quickly. I buy her the extra large size so they last longer. She really enjoys them and easily occupies her for at least 45 mins to an hour when she gets a new one. She will chew on it every day until the shaft is chewed down to where she holds it with her paws. An extra large usually lasts about 4 weeks if we spend a good bit of time outside instead of her constantly chewing on it. During cold and/or rainy weather, the extra large will only last 2 weeks at most.

Our dog is not a very passionate chewer, but when she does chew, she chews hard. This bone has stood up to her mouth and has not caused any damage to her teeth. She is kept entertained for 10-15 minutes at a time and loves the shape.

I like the fact that my Havanese loves them. However, it doesn't take very long before he has the edges of the bone chewed and frayed. I am afraid he could swallow small pieces of the nylon bone. He may not choke on these little pieces, BUT I fear that they could accumulate in him over time and cause medical issues. However, I still let him chew them. However, I try to make certain that someone watches him.

This chew definitely tried its best! I have two very avid chew monsters both weighing in around 70 pounds, between the two of them it has been about a week and they’re already 1/3 of the way through. I will say the adult Y-bones have lasted much longer, but they definitely love this toy way more.

Long-lasting and easy digestible with bacon flavor that my furbabies love. I have tried many chews that also help with their teeth and gums, but nothing compares to these.
