We have much to unlearn! Get busy investigating, the time is now.
Candace Owens is not the author of this book. However, in cooperation with the author, French journalist Xavier Poussard, she is credited with bravely presenting this important investigative work to the world. Two editions of the book have been produced, one in French and one in English. Candace has stated that all proceeds from both editions go to Xavier Poussard.Candace produced a video series based on this book, in full cooperation with Poussard. The series includes seven, hour-long episodes. You can find these on her YouTube channel as well as on her website. She entitled her video series the same as Poussard’s book — “Becoming Brigette”. The book and the video series were both released in February of 2025. Candace Owens was instrumental in getting the book published (it says “Candace Owens Presents” on the cover) but I don’t know the details of how it was published. There is no title page and it only says it was “made in the USA, Troutdale, Oregon”.The depth of bravery involved in presenting this work is hinted at if you ask yourself, “But why can’t the author publish his own book in France, his country?” Indeed, a good question. It turns out he currently cannot even safely live in his own country, let alone get the book published there (I understand he resides in Italy now with his wife and children). Candace has told her viewers many times that any act of courage on her part pales in comparison to what has been required of the investigators and journalists in France who dared to take on this explosive story. In order to really understand the level of courage achieved by Xavier Poussard (as well as Natacha Rey, another key French investigator that Poussard references extensively in the book) one must dive into the investigation itself. It’s the only way to really get how massive this is in terms of scope, complexity, and implications. The details are important to understand and “do your homework or you will be lost” really applies here. Luckily, it’s a very intriguing story! The homework assignment is essentially “read the book and watch the video series both”. I cannot imagine properly comprehending this book without watching her video series, and I cannot imagine watching her series without having the book to help keep track of all the details. The story is so complex that it takes this two-pronged approach.Poussard’s book is very well researched and extremely detailed with many long and informative footnotes. I do agree with those that say that the book needs quite a bit of editing — it was a rushed publishing job, clearly. My main suggestion would be to add text that bridges content between chapters, to improve comprehension. Many sentences are not clearly punctuated and the flow is choppy. There are typos. These issues may be due to translation issues, of course. I think it may have been translated by AI. I loathe typos in published books, but in this case the somewhat sketchy manner of presentation only added to the excitement of reading something that reveals such explosive information, the kind that is normally kept well hidden. Given that this is exceedingly timely information it has the feel of being appropriately urgently produced. As an investigative journalist, Xavier Poussard exhibits enormous amounts of rigor and tenacity. He worked on this investigation for eight years. As a reader, one does not feel he has an agenda. Indeed he is very conservative in his investigative approach and seems highly professional.Tragically, free speech rights are currently being strongly squelched in France. Candace is choosing to speak openly from the United States. She presents Xavier’s research clearly in her video series — not an easy feat! However, in practical terms she cannot present all of the extensive the information included in the book. Thus, the book is a must-read. And Candace’s story-telling skills are top notch, making her series a must-watch.This is not escapist “true crime” literature about an old and dusty case. This is cutting edge, real-time, must-read, political dynamite.Thank you to Xavier Poussard and Natacha Rey, as well as many others who have investigated the Macrons and have suffered significantly for that act of courage. You are showing us the way. ❤️*****UPDATE added a few days later: I have now read the entire book and have watched up to episode 6 in the video series. This recently published episode is special because for the first time ever (in any media in any country, I believe) Xavier Poussard shows his face and voice on camera. Candace flew to France to interview Poussard in person. Many viewers commented on how young Poussard is, most of us assumed he was older. When this episode went live it “broke the internet” — and Candace’s new website, also! The website experienced intense DDOS attacks just as she told her live viewing audience to switch over from Youtube to her website in order to watch the full interview of Poussard (at no cost, btw). She published the full interview on her website in order to protect it. Viewers couldn’t get the video to play properly for quite some time due to the attacks. This was not the first time her brand new website had been attacked, see note below.I don’t recommend skipping the other 5 episodes and jumping ahead to this episode with Poussard — you will spoil your journey, as well as get confused, I guarantee it. Much better to start at the beginning. My recommended “best way” to approach this as a newbie would be to first order Poussard’s book and, while waiting for it to arrive, watch ALL of Candace's videos on this topic — even going back BEFORE the official series. There are several other YT shows where she discusses the Macron’s, as a lead up to the release of her series. (Check both the “live” tab and the “videos” tab on her channel to find these.).If you choose to watch the shows published before her series, you will be able to watch Candace react to the Macron's sending two key letters to her! These letters have become a big part of the ongoing saga. Here is the low-down on the letters:The Macrons of course had heard about her upcoming series and very well knew all about Xavier Poussard’s as yet unpublished book. They reacted preemptively by contacting Candace via snail mail. They sent a 100 page letter (including references) to her home in Tennessee.A sitting president of a G7 country sent a legal letter to a podcaster/journalist in the U.S., with a note attached indicating "do not make this letter public”. This is a remarkably unusual act and audacious act, Candace told her viewers. It was essentially a cease-and-desist letter.Candace told her viewers that things may have turned out differently if they had not sent this letter — because instead of being intimidated or cowed by their legal move, as was clearly intended, she was incensed and even more determined and focused. 😎😏🧐Candace decided to read key portions of the letter to her viewers in one of her live shows. 😁 Attempting to squelch her free speech rights from all the way across the pond only made her furious enough to dig her heels 👠 in deeper. The fact that they wrote directly to her benefitted Candace strategically as it allowed her to have a direct line of communication to the Macron's. In her letter responding to theirs, she requested that they answer 21 basic "yes or no" questions (to see the questions in full watch the first video of the series). These are questions that anyone could readily answer in order to easily exonerate themselves from potential malicious slander, essentially preventing a public relations disaster. She gave the Macron’s a good window of time to respond to her letter before publishing her series. They neglected to respond at all. Thus, they obviously did not answer any of the included questions. Crickets! 🦗🦗🦗They did eventually write a second letter to Candace (via email between their respective lawyers) just before she was to publish her first episode of the video series. This second letter was not a late response to Candace’s letter with the questions — it didn’t answer any questions at all. It was simply designed to dissuade Candace from proceeding to publish her series. (She referred to this as a “preservation letter”.) In response to this second letter from the Macrons, Candace again opted to read the majority of the contents of the letter live on her show, just as she did with the first. 😎🤷♀️And, obviously, Candace did go ahead and publish her series. Each episode aired live (which is amazing in and of itself). Her audience was glued. Her international audience grew substantially, especially in France.Going back a bit to just before the series was begun, Candace’s brand new website experienced intense and sustained DDOS attacks which lasted several days. She told her viewers that the attacks were traced to be originating primarily from France, and she showed screen-shot evidence of this.Around the 20th of February, after the YouTube series had aired in full, Candace reported that the Macrons had claimed publicly that they had never seen the 21 questions written by Candace! By stating this denial they of course admitted to their current awareness of the questions, but so far they have still not answered any of them. More crickets.🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗The potential implications of this ongoing investigation are astounding and profound and quite obviously very broad and international in scope. The word “seismic” comes to mind. If the harm done was not so EPICALLY serious it would be very entertaining, an enthralling mystery to ponder — many people have commented that it is better than any series on Netflix. But this is very serious indeed, and it is quite shocking. That apparently is what we all need right now -- a good "shock and awe" to wake ourselves up from the thousands-of-years-long dream of ignorance, which has entranced us into a stupor.I am impressed that so many millions of people are ready and willing to absorb this kind of disturbing information. Look at Candace’s view numbers as evidence. And the book has become a bestseller in certain categories. Evidently, we are ready to face a lot of deep, dark stuff. The pedophilia, incest, child abuse, identity-swapping, blackmail, grooming, political and religious corruption intermingling, mass mind control of the public through outright deception, family lineages being manipulated, leaders created as puppets, lifetime actors working undercover … this isn’t easy stuff to process and face.I believe the very same strategies and techniques and trickery described in this book have been used for thousands of years. Master illusionists. But we hold the power to see through these illusions. Humanity CAN AND WILL disabuse itself of engrained, destructive patterns that are based in fear, always use violence, and involve profound deception. The whole mess is propped up only by our own ignorance, which can be rectified. But it’s not just ignorance of the deception of “evil doers”. We aren’t hunting bad guys — if you are, you don’t really get the depth of the problem and you still think bad guys are the problem, as if the problem resides outside of us. At root, it is a deep lack of trusting ourselves. A lack of realization of our true, divine nature. It’s a lack of ability to forgive ourselves and others. It’s a belief in separation. These are “inside us” problems and that’s where the solutions are found. That’s where the change occurs, in the projector not the projections. It takes insight and courage. And we are all here for it. All the drama is extreme because we need to SEE it to heal it. Yes, it looks a real mess, and the pain and trauma is real as an experience … but so is the healing. Only experience truly teaches. The apparent outside world is a projection of mind. We are changing our minds. The world, as a projection, MUST in turn change. Change the mind, change the projection, change the world. That’s the power we hold. That’s a big, big deal. The illusions are about as crafty and complex as you can get and we are ready for it. Bring it on. We will only learn from the experience of unraveling the illusions! This is all for a great purpose, do not doubt that my friends.*****UPDATE: Candace just published the series finale (episode 7 , titled “Epilouge”). She finally presents some of her own speculation, instead of only sticking to “just the facts ma'am" as she did in the previous episodes. There are definitely firm conclusions to be made about the Macrons, and these are clearly presented in the book as well as the video series. However, much is left unresolved as of yet, which only makes sense given the immense depth and breadth of this constructed illusion.Candace has developed a very large and diverse audience. Millions are watching her series and reading Poussard’s book. Candace has entered the chat, as they say! You can’t put this toothpaste back in the tube. And … as Candace likes to say… “that's all I am going to say about this subject!” (And then she usually ends up saying more, like me, ha!)UPDATE: And here I am in March 2025, to add that Candace said in one of her recent shows that she is thinking about extending her “Becoming Brigitte” series. Just thought I would pass that on!UPDATE: Today, March 17th, 2025, Candace clarified that all of the proceeds from the sale of both editions (French and English) go to Xavier Poussard. She also said the French edition has been ranked number 1 in France (on Amazon, I presume) for several weeks. She also showed a clip of her series being covered in a broadcast on a major Russian news channel discussing the controversies surrounding the Macrons.UPDATE March 30, 2025: I just wanted to write here the quote which Poussard placed at the beginning of Part 1 (titled, “Brigette” In Power). Here is the quote: “The old world is dying, the new world is slow to appear, and in this chiaroscuro monsters emerge.” — Antonio Gramsci, Prison Notebooks, 1948. Also: Candace has recently said that although her lawyers will not let her give details, there is much going on legally behind the scenes regarding the Macron’s. Hopefully she will be able to update us soon and perhaps add to her series. (She is due to give birth to her 4th child soon, though, so I think we will be waiting a while!)UPDATE MAY 29, 2025: Episode #189 on Candace’s YouTube channel is a must watch — Brigette manhandles Emmanuel as the airplane door opens and it was the slap heard round the world! Candace dedicates this episode to covering this incident. She doesn’t give a full update on the situation between her and the Macron’s, though. Candace has been hinting to her audience for the last few weeks that much is happening behind the scenes regarding her and the Macron’s, and also that France itself is in chaos. In this episode #189, she drops hints. (More letters sent to her from the Macron’s? Legal issues between Candace and the Macrons that her attorney’s don’t want her to speak about yet? Is the future of France in the hands of Candace Owens lol? 🤷♀️😎😳). Reading between the lines, in my opinion something big has been going on for weeks now and we don’t know what… but Candace knows what… and she said in this episode that if she were to reveal what she knows that Emmanuel Macron would be have no real choice but to resign. However, she said she can’t right now for “reasons”. She has said many times it is looking like she will be doing a second series on the Macron’s. I suspect that she has received other letters from the Macrons, probably threatening to her sue for defamation. I also suspect that she has had communications with Trump about this, but that’s just my personal opinion and my intuition speaking, she has not said so. In any case, Candace is clearly in an interesting position on the chess board. France is a big player on the world stage and the unelected man calling himself Brigette has wielded power behind the scenes for a long time.JUNE 30, 2025: BIG UPDATE!!! Well, my intuitions were spot on and it turns out Candace has indeed been contacted by Trump. Today, on her daily live show, she revealed that on February 24th (four days after the final episode of the “Becoming Brigette” aired) she got a call from people close to Trump saying that the president is requesting she stop reporting on the Macron’s due to his negotiations concerning the Ukraine/Russia war. 😳🤷♀️🫨😎. All the deets are in her show from today, but suffice it to say that she kept her mouth zipped for over 3 months and is now divulging the story. There was indeed a lot going on behind the scenes, as she had said, and I knew it must be big. It’s not intuition as much as logic really, she had said in one of her shows that there was a lot she could not talk about and at one point I remember her saying she had spoken to Trump recently. She kept telling her audience she will most likely do a second series on the Macron’s and I read this as her way of saying “I am not keeping quiet for forever”. One other note: Candace says that Trump recounted to her that Emmanuel Macron whispered in his ear while he was leaving his visit with Trump at the White House in February (Candace shows video clip of this moment in this video from today!) and Macron asked Trump to ask Candace to … basically shut up… and Trump said Macron told him he wouldn’t cooperate with Trump’s war negotiations unless this requirement was met. Well, I remember clearly during that Macron visit that the Amazon page for this book (Xavier Poussard’s “Becoming Brigette”) was taken down! The entire listing was gone, including of course my review. I remember checking Amazon for about 2-3 days and resigned myself to the reality of the censorship. Alas, the listing magically came back after a few days. 😇🧐🤨🤷♀️ I am sure other followers of Candace can confirm this. So was Amazon taking orders also? Not that Candace took orders, she agreed to temporarily kept quiet and abided by her promise. But the cats out of the bag now. I encourage everyone to take the time to watch the video series and read the book. Things are moving fast.

Intriguing. And raises many questions.
There's a bigger story here and that is what most intrigues me. My thoughts:Like others, I thought at first the Brigitte-trans idea was just a conspiracy theory. But Poussard is a true journalist in the best sense. He did a tremendous amount of legwork and his reporting is balanced. He also faced resistance and roadblocks - generally a sign someone is trying to hide something. I came away believing his theory.I also came away feeling somewhat sad for Brigitte. We live in the 21st century. France is one of the most liberal countries in the Western world. Why hide behind a facade? I can understand that would have been necessary decades ago. But not now.The bigger story, to me, is about how political power is gained and wielded, how leaders are groomed, how hidden money funds so much, how mainstream media is either clueless or part of the problem, and how we really don't know who is actually ruling - not just France - but many other countries. I find that disturbing. Also disturbing is the more hidden (to the general world) undercurrent of child abuse and grooming that goes on amid high levels of power. The Emmanuel-Brigitte saga is far from the worst, from what I read in this book. And that was questionable enough. I know others have commented that the age gap between them at the start of their relationship would have sent the older person to jail in the United States. Finally, as others also have noted, this book is translated from French and can come across somewhat choppy. It helps to watch the YouTube series first because you'll better understand the timeline and all the players. Ability to read French also will help with looking at reprinted documents and some photo text.

Not just France, this is a global issue
I, like many other Americans, probably came to this book through Candace Owen’s series on the topic. The layers here are astonishing and the pedophilia running rampant in our world is unbelievable. I’m grateful to these brave men and women who are boldly speaking up about this scandal because regardless of which country you live in, this is a much bigger story than just this “Brigitte” scandal and cover up. Poussard comes with the proof to back up these claims. Whether Poussard’s conclusion regarding Brigitte is true or not (I believe it is), anyone can see that there is something off about it all. I read the book quickly because it was a page turner but I definitely had to take a break when I started to understand the intensity of the pediphilia rings of this world. It’s disturbing to think what these people will do to children. Makes me sick.I’ve gotta know - is this book cover a hilarious nod to Michelle Obamas “Becoming” because the font, title and color are identical! 😅 anyone else see this? The English translation is good but could use some cleaning up. Some spelling, grammatical, awkward word choice errors. But there’s enough context to get you through!Share with others!

Becoming Brigitte by Xavier Poussard
The book is a low-quality print one which is ok for reading, but when one wants to see the pictures that are very important to the whole story, it's almost impossible to see the point they make. I've already seen the "Becoming Brigitte" series by Candace Owens, so I've heard the story and I've seen the pictures that blew my mind (hence the 5 stars), and I wish the book had this great quality, colored 1-page pictures so everybody could see the Macrons deception and depravity every time they open their book. Please, improve it and never stop advertising this book! Thank you for your work Xavier Poussard and Candace Owens.
