I’m in San Antonio and for some reason we have an over abundance of mosquitoes near my home although there are no large bodies of water or standing water. I was constantly getting bitten while even in the house. I plugged in one of these and placed near my living room. I didn’t check it for a week but kept it on continuously, but after 7 days I checked it and was astonished at how many mosquitoes/gnats/fruit flies it captured. I was so happy that I bought 2 more for upstairs and for my bedroom. I am super-impressed with the price and effectiveness of this Stem brand and highly recommend!

Bought this because I was getting eaten by a mosquito in my apartment. Didn't catch anything except a tiny fruit fly on day 1, but on day 2 I was pleased to see that stupid mosquito stuck to the glue. It works! Did exactly the job I bought it for.

The reviews are accurate in describing the weak suction power of this fan. The two modes seem to produce the same amount of suction. However, I tested both modes by placing a paper towel against the fan to determine which one had stronger suction. Surprisingly, both modes only managed to suction the towel just barely. I even caught a fruit fly resting on top of the fan’s suction and it didn’t do its job. The fan’s suction power is quite disappointing. The only positive aspect of this product is its size. I appreciate that it’s not too bulky, but now it’s just a waste of space because it’s incredibly weak. I doubt I’ll use it anymore because it’s just another place for fruit flies to chill. I think this STEM Flying Insect Fan Trap is actually a really great product overall. It really does work and has helped me keep my house much more free from flying insects, which has made a big difference in my day-to-day comfort. It’s easy to use, runs quietly, and I like that it’s a cleaner alternative compared to sprays. It does a good job controlling bugs indoors, and I’ve definitely noticed fewer flying insects since using it. That said, I do think it’s a little on the pricier side, which is why I’m taking off one star. The replacement filters can also be pretty expensive, so that’s something to keep in mind long term. Overall, even with the cost, it still works well and does what it’s supposed to do. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance way to manage flying insects indoors, this is a solid option.

Wow! We had a mosquito outbreak once the heavy rain period ended last week. Sitting on our lanai in the evening became impossible for all the bites and buzzing. The day this trap arrived I plugged it in and set on the lanai table. The next morning there must have been twenty mosquitos in there and several small moths. I was hoping it would catch house flies but that hasn't happened yet. KB

does not work on house flies. insect trap does work on Smaller thanks likengnats moths and mosquitoes. ive had the trap in use for about a year and have never seen one hoisefly in the trap. for smaller. For smaller bugs it works especially overnight when sent to run on a timer

Easy to setup and use. Definitely works as advertised. Couldn’t catch a mosquito for over two weeks and this device traps it in 5 minutes after it’s been on. Also works on flies for sure. Highly recommend

I suddenly had this big invasion of fruit flies or gnats or whatever tiny bugs. I got this bad boy and it started killing Immediately . I say it is performing as advertised. Not magical. Just slow and relentless. I recommend the High fan setting.
