Great knife for the value and more. The packaging is pretty but more importantly well done and secure. The knife makes clean cuts as it is extremely sharp. The weight balance is perfect for all types of chefs. My husband and I both found it comfortable to use. As the description says, wash by hand and don’t put it in the dishwasher. Even with washing by hand you may need to oil the handle from time to time since it is wooden, if you want to preserve the look. Overall, I really like the knife and will be buying others from this brand to update my knives.

Excellent product! This 8-inch chef's knife is razor sharp and super versatile. It could cleanly slice tomatoes, shred potatoes, chop onions, and cut up meat. It is well designed, which helps it feel perfectly balanced and ergonomic in your hand. The knife is beyond my expectations and it is extremely good value for money!

Bought this Knife for my husband for Christmas . Safe to say he absolutely loves this knife . He uses it in the kitchen every night when he cooks. This knife cuts amazingly and is extremely sharp . He has cut himself twice pretty good .

This is a good knife for the cost, a pretty good value in my opinion. The issue I have with it is I feel the ad was misleading. The ad I read said it was a Japanese hand crafted chef's knife. When it arrived it is clearly a mass produced, and made in China. I think I may have been mislead by something like handcrafted Japanese "style" chef's knife, or something similar. Having said that though, it is a good knife, and worth the value they charged.

This is my second PAUDIN blade. This chef knife is great! I have been using this knife for several days and really like it! It came in a nicely packed box. The handle is so comfortable to hold, and the look of this knife is awesome. Most important, the size, weight and sharpness of this chef knife are all perfect, very sharp, very impressive, and just meets my need to cut different kinds of meat. It makes all meat prep easier. I am very pleased with this purchase and will purchase other kinds of blades from PAUDIN. Highly recommend it!

Very sharp knife must needed for your household !

The first thought that crossed my mind as I opened the box containing this Paudin Knife was, "Wow! This is beautiful!" It is extremely aesthetically pleasing, replacing the standard flat blades found on typical knives with a textured, rippled look on the upper halves of both sides of the blade. The surface is also extremely reflective (you could use this as a mirror to check your hairdo between cutting veggies) and the handle is a beautiful color of wood with a smooth, even, and easy grip. As for its utility, it appears to work very well. It cuts very smoothly (in fact my friends made fun of me for saying "Oooohhh! It cuts so smoothly!" in my first test run) and seems very professional compared to other knives I've used. If there are any flaws to the knife they are not apparent to me. I may have had this knife for just a little bit, but I'm excited to use it and inspired to cook!
