My wife Beverly has been nicknamed "Beaver" for the past 60 years. She is "Beaver" to our two kids and six grandchildren as well as numerous friends. This is just what we needed outside our front door near the welcome mat. Nicely molded and a good value for the price.

I've always liked the personality traits of beavers: industrious, organized, self disciplined. This 12-inch wooden statue is a great addition to my beaver collection of carved, furry & painted friends. The beaver, holding a welcome sign to greet guests, is now positioned on a side table in my foyer. I took it outside on the deck today for a photo shoot but I wouldn't leave this statue outside. It is weighty so it may not easily tip over, but I don't believe the painted elements could stand up to adverse weather conditions. Of course, this cute beaver statue would make a great party centerpiece on a table with hors d'oeuvres, drinks or treats! It has quite a presence so is already a show stopper at our front door!

This Beaver is awesome (and would have been 5 Stars), however, I was dissapointed to find the "welcome" sign not fully painted. The "M" and "E" were missed. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to reach out to the seller or manufacturer directly to let them know of this issue.
