Must for balcony gardens
I bought this with primary need to get natural minerals. Since my balcony garden is exposed to sun for atleast 6 hours, plants were growing fast and water consumption increased. Insufficient supply on natural nutrients were hampering their flowering and health (shriveled leaves, drooping branches etc.). Thus, went for this and was able to cover along with bone meal for ~ 7 large round pots, and 4 rectangular potters.Mind it, you need to make sure you add this in right quantity along with other plant food. As expected, it will generate little compost heat when exposed to water and sun causing stem burns in soft flowering plants. So, the best option is to mix with bone meal + soil + water and till the pot soil and mix this well.Good product did not see any pests, insects or chemical smell.

It worked for my plants
My holy basil plants were dying in the pot. When first one died and i thought may be due to summer it died. Then I got another one and it was rainy season, plants really thrive in rainy season but this one also died and I thought may be the plant was not good. Then I got three plants in winter and all of those died within 2 months. Then I started looking for plant food and I decided on this one. I got a new plant and just added around 1 tbsp of the manure in the potting soil.I didn't add anymore because some reviews said their plants died. Sometime they die if you add a lot of it. This time my plant grew very well and I am writing this review after 40 days of adding the manure. So I think it worked pretty well.

Good product earlier, gooey mix now
I prefer the actual manure to the gooey mix that is sold by most companies in the name of manure. The first time I ordered this product, what I got was pure manure, the way I like it. I was impressed with the quality as there was very less waste (leaves, stones, etc.) in the packet. This product was not available in the interim. When I recently saw that it was available, I ordered two packs. But I'm terribly disappointed to see that these are now in the gooey form and not the manure form that I received earlier. Manure should smell as manure and work as manure. This looks like mud and I'm not sure if it even works properly. Terribly terribly disappointed. I would have given 5 stars if the product was same as earlier, but I'll restrict to 3 for now.

Infected my plants with bugs (mostly ants)
I'm usually a fan of Cocogarden's products but this one was just completely off the mark - my plants had bugs all over the place when I used this and no, I've never had an issue with pests and keep my garden extremely clean (only the plants repotted with this had the issue).I'd stick to using their Vermicompost, which I've never had any issues with for more than 2 years.
