ContinentalContiTech Insta-Power V-Belt, 84375, 0.50" Top Width, 0.31" Height, 37.5" Length

Bought this to replace a fraying and split v-belt on a 3.75hp tiller. Obviously, anything new would be better than a belt that is falling apart, but comparing the composition and design of construction... this belt is built much better than the one that came with the tiller. The only bad thing is the amount of time it took to find the Goodyear catalog to "decrypt" the product code and know that this belt fit the correct application (outdoor, lower HP power equipment for lawn + garden), and what the heck the "length" corresponded to: OD (outer dia.) or ID (inner dia.). I had purchased a similar belt, but it was too long, and designed for higher-speed indoor machinery. Luckily Amazon was kind enough to just tell me to keep it when I went to return it- I appreciated that.Still, it is a great quality product from a company that knows a thing about making rubber/rubber-like belts/treads.I'd recommend to someone who has a product sheet or spoke with someone in a store that was willing to educate them. Definitely check similar items to see what the naming conventions and reported lengths represent- not a good time to assume (try searching online for Goodyear-rep catalogs). Also, check your equipment manual when ordering, and don't measure your worn belt; you will understand how belts grow longer as they wear. My tiller engages the tines with so much less pressure applied to the handle, but it no longer jumps, or applies inconsistent power at the tines.

These are a great upgrade over my old and broken ones.I removed both wheels and stretched the tires on at my work bench. Much safer this way.

Update January 2021:I installed this belt on my circa 1990 Ariens ST1032 snowblower modified with an 11.5 HP engine. It failed in less than a year. I replaced it, and the replacement failed in 2 years, with one year being very light use.I don't think this is the fault of the snowblower... the engine is pretty powerful but not crazy so (414 cc), the pulleys and idler are in good condition and aligned well, and the belt is properly tensioned.-------------Original review:Seems like good quality, and is the perfect size for installing an LCT 414cc engine on an Ariens 924-series snowblower. Belts available locally only come in whole-inch sizes, and are either too short or too long. This one is perfect.

Fit snowblower and far less expensive than OEM belt. Works great.

This is a tough belt and should last a couple of seasons on my JD garden tractor. I will buy more of these as the need will arise. :-)

I needed an 87" inside diameter belt. Description didn't clearly state that belt lenth was the outside length. Return process was super easy.

I liked the belt quality etc. My only concern is that when I returned the first one they sent because it was way too short, I don't know if they gave me credit for the return or charged me twice? Wish there was a way to contact them.

The belt I needed needs to be 35" in length, just 3/8" longer and it slaps up against the belt coverThis one measures 35 3/8" with a fabric tape on the outside of the beltI ended up getting a direct replacement for the part 754-0101A and it was exactly 35" in length
