Great item
Purchase the ring sizer kit first in order to get the correct and most comfortable size. The ring itself is comfortable to wear and very stylist. App very easy to use and provides very useful information. Will be invaluable to monitor trends over time.

Best alternative to watch based health devices
I didn’t want to get an Apple Watch as I like proper watches but I wanted to track my heart and also really didn’t want to pay a subscription. This ring is really good and exceeded my expectations. It doesn’t feel overly big, though you do notice a little when working with a keyboard. The software is better than Apples health app, especially for heart rate which shows the actual values over time, not broad maximum and minimum range, plus it appears to take readings way more often than Apple Watch. It spotted a high heart rate and lack of sleep so I knew I wasn’t well and not just imagining it. Definitely recommended to capture your stats if you don’t want a watch

A potentially (and initially) brilliant product let down by a fatal battery flaw.
I’d had this ring for several months and raved about it to everyone that saw it shining happily on my finger. It’s great - measures everything, so much easier than a watch. I charge it every 10/11 days, does everything you want, sleep monitoring without the intuitive nature of my Apple Watch, heart, exercise - even sleep apnea. Couldn’t have asked for more. If I’d reviewed then, would have been 5 starts without question. Indeed, this is probably why there are so many 4 and five star reviews that you’ve read. However The problems began, some what ironically for me, a couple of weeks after the 1 year warranty. Well I say that, but that’s really when I noticed the significance of the slowly eroding battery life. It probably started earlier, but I was in denial. So like many, I only admitted I had a problem at this point as I sadly accepted the that the re-charge was about a week - no longer 10/11 days heydays. I reached out to customer support, and their helpful automated agent basically told me I was out of lock and out of warranty. Efficient use of automation by customer support there, managing to get rid of me without involving any form of human interaction - nice… Ticking on a few weeks, the battery continues to degrade. Shame. What was once the amazing item I raved about to anyone and everyone who would listen, has become a shining embarrassment to the longevity (or lack of) of lithium batteries. Shame. Luckily I have the fallback of my Apple Watch 4, which is still going strong, and lasting as long as its first day. Same for my iPhone, and every other battery powered device I bought over the last few years. Perhaps Apple use a better supply of lithium- who knows… So in summary, be prepared for a fabulous few months, perhaps even a whole year, then watch the sad slow death of your shiny little friend, while trying (for me almost every day now) to eek out some final throws of life before the inevitable opening of the pearly gates of silicon heaven, and that sad, sad goodbye… Added a photo to show where it sadly likes to spend too much of its time now….

Health tracking is not a substitute for actual medical care
This is my second Gen 2 Ringconn. Do not let that put you off. I bought my first a year ago, second hand, and I have worn it literally every day since. In the shower, swimming, cycling, at work, while sleeping. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Last week the battery stopped holding any charge and I contacted Ringconn hoping it could be saved. They were great, and even offered me an exchange if I had an official purchase order number, which sadly I didn't as I got it second hand.... so I ordered a shiny new one! Since my first ring helped me so much with my health I even got a size smaller, which is great! The Gen 2 is robust but stylish and very comfortable to wear. It looks like a simple but stylish band, which goes with pretty much all my outfits, it connects easily to the app, and best of all- the battery lasts up to 12 days! The app is free to use (unlike some other companies) and accurately tracks pulse, sleep, and activity. The new auto-sense feature for tracking activity works surprisingly well, and I look forward to it being expanded in the future. It also offers sleep apnoea monitoring, which is what first made me pick this brand over others- I am diagnosed with sleep apnoea and I use the ring once every couple of months to make sure it's not getting worse. It's surprisngly accurate with it, and helps me feel more secure about monitoring my condition so I can contact my dr for advice if things change. Overall, I LOVE this ring, and I am looking forward to another year or more with my new one.

Nice ring, yet it is aimed at sports people, and not the working man or woman.
Nice ring, yet it is aimed at sports people, and not the working man or woman. Never trust how long it says the battery will last. It is way too optimistic! I found its best use is to track my sleep.

Superb Smart Ring
Had this ring for a couple of months now and love it. Great battery life, stylish ring, coupled with a simple but effective and informative app (no subscription required). Also really like the charging case.

Okay but some dodgy data
Good points The ring fits well, is good quality and the battery, so far, is lasting for 12 days before needing to be recharged. The app is useful and info is easy to read. Not so good points Some of the data is poor. The sleep tracking is next to useless. It doesn't record when I fall asleep before going to bed and records be being awake during the night when I'm definitely not. The stress data is also hopeless. It me being most stressed in the evenings when I am completely relaxed in the evenings, having dinner and a glass or to of wine, hence my sleeping before going to bed ;o) Finally I don't believe the steps count in the activity tracker, it records steps when I'm not walking but doing other activities. Would I buy another? Not at this price, or even half the price.

Great device, but let down by poor quality
I am rather disappointed with the product quality. Ringconn product support is great but the ring itself is a let down. My first ring stopped charging, and ringconn sent me another without fuss. Now the replacement is playing up and not charging.

Excellent Product and Value for money
First check the best fit of ring size using the size kit. Writing this review after 45 days, Looks elegant, works excellent, Battery Remains 10 days, Perfectly syncs with the phone. Don't feeling wearing it. App is too professional and provides loads of information on the Vitals, Sleep, Activity and Stress. Ai based plan needs a lot of improvement (still in beta), finding cumulative monthly achievements in the app is bit hard. Sometimes the info provided by app seems to be overwhelming. Sleep Apnea Tracking is good and looks suggestive. Only after couple of months it can be confirmed. Otherwise a best product that comes without any subscription and doing it's job so well. Kudoos to Ringconn Team.

No-subscription health tracker ring that delivers
I have tried a couple of different health tracking wearables such as bands, rings etc. This ringconn gen 2 is probably the best overall based on almost a year of usage. PROS - No subscription. You pay for the ring (not cheap) but you never have to pay again. They do have a premium service but the app isn’t aggressive with it and they dont lock up the important parts of the app unlike some other tracker's app. - It’s not ugly. I got the sliver one and it looks like a fine piece of jewelry that goes well with my wedding band. - Ring’s build quality is great. Feels very solid. - Battery life really last 10 days so one charge a week is more than enough. - The app is generally well built, not much bugs and didnt give me much issues. Connecting the app to ring is simple and easy. Lotsa clear written and video instructions. - Tracks a whole bunch of stats such as sleep stages, blood oxygen, heart rate, HRV, skin temperature, pulse rate, breathing rate, step count etc. - Based on the data, the app generates additional information such as stress levels, recovery and sedentary risks. - I like the goal setting as well which allows you to setup sleep, activity and other goals. Having the ring nag me when i’m overly sedentary is great too. - Customer support is excellent. I have to get my ring replaced twice. First time because the ring just died after 6 months and the second ring’s battery only last 3 days. My point is, the customer support genuinely wants to help. As long as you didnt not destroy your ring, getting it replaced for legit issues is straightforward. Now the CONS - It is not a cheap ring, but well worth the money - It is recommended to have the ring’s sensors on the palm side of your finger but it’s a ring and ring rotates. It isn’t a clear way to know when it has rotated without looking at it carefully to see where the sensors are. Overall, this had been a fantastic purchase for me. I have become a lot more healthier because of it and that’s something worth a million times more than a couple hundred bucks.
