I've been buying these since 2019...
I've been buying these sweatpants since 2019, in sizes medium and large (I'm 5' 6", approx 145 lbs), and in all colors. I now own more than one pair of each color in both of those sizes (I told you I had a lot). I pretty much live in them in the colder months here in New York. They always fit me better than any other sweatpants, The mediums fit how you would say is "a perfect fit", and the large are quite roomy on me, which is a whole different look that I also like. Some days you just want a big old baggy pair of sweatpants! These pants wear and launder well, and last a long time, still looking and feeling great. I still wear every single pair I own, and they are all still EXTREMELY comfortable. In their natural state, they are high rise, and I wear them that way, and also often roll the top over. There's ample room to do that without causing the crotch to rise up too much or give a muffin top. They do tend to get pilling on the inner thighs with wear, but that's pretty normal with cotton sweatpants. The biggest criticism that I have of them is the inconsistency in inseam length. Usually they're between 31 and 32 in, which is great for me, with sneakers on, but other times they are 33 in, and then the worst (for me), is when they're only 30 in. There doesn't seem to be much quality control in that regard. Also they sometimes fit slightly different in other areas, but that's rarely been a real issue for me. The slight differences don't tend to affect them still looking good, and it never affects comfort in the least. So it's now 2024, and here I am to buy yet a couple more pairs for the new season. I ordered one in dark gray and one in light gray, both size medium. For anyone who has ordered these in the past, and is back to buy more (although those people probably aren't even reading the reviews), of note, is that the style has changed from previous years. The trim on the pockets is different (I think I like it more), and the top of the light gray sweatpants used to have a lighter colored band at the top, which I loved, and that's no longer like that. Now they're the same color from top to bottom, but that's no biggie. Also, and time will tell, but it seems like MAYBE the inner thigh area is pilling faster (after just one wear), but I don't know that I ever closely looked at them after one wear before. I just happened to notice it today when I was measuring the inseams. That's not a big deal to me, but I just hope that other areas don't significantly pill now, because that's never been an issue in the past. I will try to remember to come back here and update my review when I have worn them more. I really do love the way the new-style, light gray pair fits me. The inseam is 32 in, and they're actually one of the most flattering I've ever had of these, so after trying them on, I was so happy that I got them in dark gray too. I was hopeful that the inseam issue would no longer be a thing with the new style, until I tried them on. They turned out to have only a 30-in inseam, and were also one of those rare pairs that fits me poorly in other areas. At times like this, the dilemma always is, do I return the ill-fitting pair and try for another, hoping that the replacement pair will fit better? Overall I still give them five stars, but if this updated style proves to not wear as well, etc, again, I will certainly try to remember to come back and update. That's my two cents, or in this case, maybe more like 20 cents.

Fit Great! I Sized Down!
Love these women's Champion straight leg Power Blend sweat pants! They are 60% polyester and 40% cotton. They are a nice medium weight fleece inside. They will be perfect for our cool summers and even winter, because we wear long underwear underneath them in the winter in this part of the country. They are made in El Salvador. They also have pockets, which I don't usually care about, but these pockets lie nice and smoothly. I have tried so many brands of sweats in the past. Some are too large and baggy. Some shrink too much. I usually wear a size 12 in jeans or cords. That is a medium in most size charts. I have lost 15 pounds since last year, and my legs are naturally very thin and long anyway. I am 5'6" and 145 lbs. I decided that I would take the risk and order the black, dark gray, and light gray in size small. They fit just perfect! I knew the legs and hips in a small would fit me, but I was concerned about the waist. The waist is both elastic and has a draw string. The size chart says small will stretch to accommodate a 26.5" waist. My waist is 32", and I have absolutely no problem getting them on. They are very comfortable. The inseam measures exactly 31". Size medium would have been huge on me. I like them the way they fit now. I intend to wash my sweats on cold and either air dry or hang to dry. I do that with some of my other clothing too. We all have different sizing issues and body shapes. If you are on the thin side, you might want to size down if you don't like baggy pants. However, if you do not like taking a little extra care of your sweats by washing on cold and air drying, then you may want to order your usual size. I am retired and have the time available to fuss a little more with my clothing now. These pants definitely get 5 stars from me!

Quite comfortable
These sweats are quite comfortable. My pairs (black & a gray pair) are soft on the inside. Material feels sturdy also. Due to their thickness I don't feel these are a year round pant. Definitely very cool to cold weather if you plan on wearing them outside. I've got two complaints though about them. Both pairs were ordered in a large. I'm a "apple" shape & while these fit comfortably FOR ME they're a little snug. If you like something looser fitting or a relaxed fit definitely get a size later than you'd normally wear. Due to this these cannot, will not be put in the dryer. Even on low I don't trust they won't shrink. My other complaint is these attached lint & pet hair like a magnet. So if you are going to wear them outside I suggest having a lint /hair remover with you or before you go out. Other than those two things these sweats were well worth it.

Love em. So soft, great fit, cozy warm, not too thick, pockets & great price. Zero complaints.
Purchased 3 different brands of sweat pants similar to this pair. One was really heavy material with super baggy legs, the other was very light material, lighter than I was looking for. This pair was just right. Champion brand is super soft and comfy, the pants leg is a tiny bit long for me, but I'm 5'3", so I'm kinda short. I roll them up if I go outside at all. 240lbs and they are a good fit, I do have to use the draw string, but not much. Just to keep them up. Not too baggy, but plenty of room and it's always nice to have pockets. The waistline just covers my belly button and is high enough in the back to give good coverage without feeling like I need to keep pulling them up. This is the second pair I have bought, and I have no doubt I will buy more. I'd do a pros and cons list, but I can't think of any cons. Other than not having anything other than black in 2x. I'm using them for hanging around the house so I'm not too worried about the color. Soft, really a great fit, pockets, drawstring, warm, but not too warm, and a great price too. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with these. Highly recommend.

Comfy and fit well
First off, this review is for a second purchase of the product, so you know I had to have liked them in the first place. I live in Alaska and tho' I have some baggy, fleece lined sweats, they're not very attractive for everyday wear in public, which these are. True, the fleece lining is thin but that was expected. I'm 5'10" and found the length perfect, ankle length and they fit over my boots nicely. I'm average body type and the fit is fine without being either tight or loose. I hate the baggy look regular sweats tend to assume after only a few wears and these seem to hold their shape well. Seams seem tight and my original pair has gone through several washings and emerged as good as new, so they are well made. I'm not sure what else to mention other than the fact that I enjoy the size and structure of the pockets. It gets cold here in AK and I tend to stash my phone in a pocket while walking the dog and tho' it isn't something I do regularly (too paranoid about losing the phone), so far the pockets seem to do the job, whether for phone, keys, or whatever else I've crammed into them. I'd definitely and probably will buy this item again.

Change the fit.....give us choices!
I have always liked Champion's products. Raising 4 son on a tight budget, I realized that by buying their sweats and sneaks from Champion, they would outlast the other brands; the products are well made; seams are sewn right and secure, and everything fits the way it's supposed to. Also, even after multiple washings, the size and colors stay true. Here is my problem. I wrote you quite a long note when I first ordered these open bottom pants for myself. Now, don't misunderstand me, they are plenty long; my legs are about 33". They are good and warm, and the waist band fits the way that size is supposed to. But....here we go again: Women of my age (I should say many of us, not all), have had multiple births in our lives. Now around 45-50 years old, we start going through the "changes", which are very annoying, because we finally get our figures back after dieting and exercising, and then BAM, Nature decides to steal our Estrogen, and our middles start to swell again! But the big deal is, our legs usual remain slim and fit in appearance. All the dieting, exercising, chasing after kids, running up and down stairs, and holding down jobs, have also helped to keep them this way.....but stress, too much white flour, white sugar, white rice, sit-down-jobs, and lack of Estrogen changes our proportions around our midriff, our bellies, our hips, and our thighs. There are VERY few sportswear companies who address that issue. We like to wear sweats too! But I have to tell you that the ones I just bought, even though the leg length, waist, fabric, and color were great, left me with VERY baggy legs! I'm embarassed to wear them to the store...it looks like I'm wearing pj pants. Isn't there a way you can control the size of the waist and the length, and offers them in slim fit, medium fit, or loose fit? A lot of us old broads would be very happy. (And by the way, they ARE nice and warm!). Robin Sherrod ([email protected])

Love them. All day, comfort.
These are very comfortable and very warm and I find myself wearing them around the house all day long sometimes. I have re-ordered in multiple colors. I am five 7 1/2 and for me I would prefer that they were about an inch longer.

My Ideal
EDIT: In my original review I did not mention that the gray pants are an inch or more longer than the black ones; I thought they might shrink. They have been laundered quite a few times and are still long, but still acceptable. I am over 60 y/o and have worn sweat pants most of my life. However, as their popularity has waned in recent years (being replaced, perhaps, by yoga pants?), it has become harder to find good sweat pants. After a couple more bad purchases of pants that shrank too much, didn't have pockets, etc., I finally found these Champion ones. The reviews and answered questions prompted me to try them, and I have not been disappointed!! I have had them for two months, washed them quite a few times, and am as happy as I might expect to be with sweat pants. They have not shrunk noticeably, if at all, and have retained their color and shape. My only quibble is that they "pilled" pretty quickly between my upper thighs. I will not only buy more of these, but will gladly recommend them to others. I hope the price comes down, as that would make them more attractive. UPDATE: These sweatpants have been worn and loved so much for the last year that I have bought two more pair while they were on sale!! The pilling mentioned above has really been minimal and they never did shrink, perhaps because they are 60% polyester, but they certainly feel like cotton. They are not baggy, as sweat pants used to be, either, but look very crisp and neat. I wish they came in more colors, but I'm considering if I should stock up on enough black pairs to last me for life because as sure as they're "perfect," they will probably soon be unavailable! ;-) I love these.

Good
They are really warm and cozy. A little bit longer than I hoped for, but it still works.

Exactly as shown and described
Good Quality, not too thick or too thin. Very comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for. I'm 5'2 and bought the XS. They are a little long but I don't mind that. Waist is expected size and has a drawstring for a tighter or looser fit. I would purchase again.

Good quality
Quality wise is good. Fit us a bit on the big side, but for house pants they re ok. Wash at 30 deg max and beware color fades a tad.
