My baby has had cradle cap on and off and he seems to itch his scalp like crazy when it appears so I bought this brush and it really is great to massage in his shampoo and it gently removes any cradle cap build up or flakey scalp - he’s not been itching his head since I started using this every bath time. It’s made of soft silicone and he really doesn’t mind the process at all

I’m not sure if it says somewhere not to use on newborns (it doesn’t say that anywhere obvious anyway) but even used very very gently this rubbed hair off in the areas where it was used - much like babies hair can gradually rub off at the back when lying down over time but it removed newborns hair at the front after one use. Baby didn’t have cradle cap just a few flakes I wanted to clean away gently, so it wasn’t cradle cap damaging the hair or the hair coming away with flakes. I’m aware babies hair is very delicate and would likely have rubbed off gradually but this was a sudden change with baby suddenly bald at the front which was a bit upsetting. It’s easy to use and hold however and sure it would be ok for older baby but I’d avoid on newborn just in case
