Worked for my purpose
I live in a climate that is cold for half the year. Tying my down comforter to the duvet cover is a chore I don't enjoy. I added small loops to my down comforter and attached these carabiner clips to those loops. I also sewed small loops to my duvet covers. Now I can quickly hook these carabiners to the loops on my duvet covers to efficiently change the dirty cover and replace with a clean one.

Size is different than shown, some were defective
I purchased the 20mm long model and they are actually 25mm long, so won't work for my project. Some of them were rough to engage but loosened up with some use, and one was defective and wouldn't snap closed at all. The rest of them are very good and inspire confidence, the metal is thick and strong. Chrome finish feels solid and looks good. The maximum opening is only about 3.5mm so they can't even link into each other to form a chain.
