Seems to work fine, but no way to delete plants. Also the slider bars for setting up plants is tricky. But I am happy enough. Would like to be able to keep brief notes for each plant.

The setup was pretty easy. It synced really fast to my iphone. When the probe is inserted the readout starts in a couple seconds and stabilizes between 5- 7 seconds. I started out testing it on my house plants- 30 of them. Each time I also used my needle pointer probe. WOW! The difference in information is amazing! If the needle probe pointed to 1, the rainpoint would read between 9% and 11%. Two hours after watering, the needle pointer read [10] wet on two different plants. the rainpoint read 72% on one and 87% on the other. So much better information! I love this product! Then outside on two rose plants, that I had watered the day before. One read 74% while the other read 46%. The information from the rainpoint is far better than my other probes. I give the rainpoint an A+

These are OK, but I like the Reyke soil moisture meter system better. Reyke is much easier to set up and communicates to the monitor over a long range, even to my gardens outside of my house. This system is Bluetooth and does not have a long range; I was unable to monitor them when I put them outside of my house.

This actually works great in close range. Unfortunately my garden was further than Bluetooth can reach, so I returned it.

I had been using an old fashioned soil moisture tester that only indicates moisture from wet to dry, the kind that a needle sways one way or the other representing how moist the soil is. It's really hard to actually gauge the actual soil dampness.However, this neat soil tester actually tells exactly what the moisture level is AND the temperature. This would be an incredible addition to anyone who has a greenhouse that needs monitoring. It is well built, and seems like it'll last a long time because of that. I definitely recommend this for helping keep your plants happy and healthy.

Interesting product. I have been using it on an indoor potted plant. If your plant is not on the list of available options, you can create a custom plant with soil humidity and temperature ranges. Readings seem accurate.I use this company's outdoor Bluetooth water timer that connects to my hose bib. I really like that product as a part of my outdoor potted plant irrigation system.Both products always are available through the app for me. I never have had connection issues. I also have the mini socket hub.

It's not apparently obvious that you need an entirely different rainpoint app to use the "t" series devices vs "h". I have absolutely no idea why they didn't just make everything ubiquitous. I already have the hub and sensor from a different lineup and thought I'd be able to connect it to the same system. I guess not...

As far as I can tell it only gives you the soil moisture and air temperature not soil temperature wish it would give you the soil temperature for planting.
