I bought this because I wanted a clean, durable quick-release keychain setup, and this has worked really well. The titanium construction feels solid without being bulky, and the overall fit and finish are better than a lot of cheaper keychain hardware. The quick-release function is the main reason to buy it. It lets me separate keys or small tools quickly without fighting split rings every time. That is especially useful if you carry vehicle keys, shop keys, house keys, or small EDC items that you may not always want attached to the same setup. It locks together securely, releases cleanly, and does not feel cheap or sloppy. It is one of those small pieces of gear that makes daily carry a little more organized and less annoying. Simple, well made, lightweight, and useful. I would buy it again.

Great, sturdy keychain with a solid quick-release mechanism. I was worried it might release itself from impact or just rolling around in my pocket, which is why I went this route and not the magnet version. This one uses a pin-style push-down release. It won’t disengage unless the body is pushed back intentionally—which simply won’t happen inside a pocket—but it’s still easy to operate with one hand. I attached it to my small multitool along with my car key, so I can detach and use it easily whenever I need to. It makes carrying and accessing everything much more convenient. Overall, it’s a sturdy, well-designed item that’s easy to use and feels reliable.

Great keychain separator highly recommended

It operates well but needs to be little larger in size. It is fine for people with tiny hands but for average people it would be easier to separate the keys when you want to hand over your car keys to a mechanic or valet.

I've been using this for about a week. Mine is the little spherical one. My use of this is not for hanging keys, but for hanging a 5.5" solid aluminum kubotan (aka palm stick, a self-defense tool) from a belt loop so that the kubotan hangs free by my right trouser pocket = quickly accessible, not in a pocket. I attach one split ring to the kubotan (it has a large hole in the "non-business" end), one split ring to a small carabiner which clips to my belt loop. A sharp, but easy jerk downward frees the kubotan and it's ready to go. It releases easily enough, but I can tell there's no danger of it releasing without being firmly pulled. It's quite easy to snap it back together again: about the same pressure that one would use to close a snap on an overcoat. One reviewer complained that the item was very small, and too small for his (?) use. That's not the case for me at all. I love its small size. For scale, the length from the top of one split ring to the top (bottom) of the other one is exactly 2.5". Add my carabiner to that length and my kubotan hangs at a perfect spot for me to grab it easily if needed.

Really good quality quick release for my keys. I actually sit on it occasionally and it seems to come apart. But that is the only time I have a problem with it. Other than that really easy to take apart and put back together does a good job of holding my car key on to my key ring and it separates really easy

良い点 ･軽量 ･外れない ･頑丈 悪い点 ･リングがチタンではない(重くはない) ･付け外しにコツがいる 購入2回目になります。 最初はマグネットタイプと悩んだのですが万が一外れたらと思うのが嫌なのでコチラの商品を選びました。 軽さ外れ無さは最高です！！ あえて悪い点を言うならリングがチタンでは無い位です。脱着については慣れると何も問題ないです。根元を押すだけなので。 おすすめできる商品です。
