Well worth the money
So far I have only used this for short trips but I find it very comfortable (I'm 4'10" and weigh 100 lbs).I use it without the footrests but would probably put them on if I planned to be in it for a longer period.I've had several people push me in it and everybody comments how nice it is, how easy to push and how smooth it rolls. It folds down easily for loading in to the car. I needed a lightweight option because my caregiver can't lift a traditional wheelchair and this chair fit the bill. I decided to invest the extra money in a quality chair and I am not sorry I did.

Great design!
I bought the chair for my brother. He's a thin guy and the 16" inch seat was perfect for his body frame. At first glance it may seem like the wheelchair may be a little uncomfortable but once you sit down it's comfortable! My brother looks like his body is more aligned and straight in comparison to his previous transport chair. We did have to remove the piece of fabric on that was on the footrests because his feet wouldn't fit/rest properly. Other than that my brother loves it ! He likes the short armrest because he can get closer to the table at restaurants. The brakes by the handles are perfect and I feel that this ergonomic design is perfect for my brother.

Not right enough leg room it’s uncomfortable for long periods of time
I love the weight but I had already taken my daughter out in it before I realized the way it’s made the legs need to go out further she doesn’t have enough leg room and she is short also the handles are too low I have to bend over to push it the way it locks is great I had never had locks at the handle before I like that a lot

Excellent chair
These are so much better than the cheaper style utility chairs. Much more comfortable and light weight too.

comfortable, sturdy, lightweight and easily transported
Excellent features include ergonomic design for comfort of the rider, small carry pouch on back of the chair and companion brakes that actually work! It's lightweight and easily folds flat to fit in the trunk of a car or behind the front seat. The 12-inch rear wheels allow the chair to be successfully driven on uneven sidewalks/terrain. My husband initially used another transport chair that was less expensive but did not have the ergonomic design. In that one he couldn't sit comfortably for more than about 15 minutes and the chair brakes started to fail after about 3 weeks of occasional use for doctor appointments. This Karman chair is worth the extra cost.
