WORKS GREAT
Was working on the boat today getting ready for summer in Minnesota. When I got to the boat the inside temp was 99 degrees, I fired up the A/C that I had primed the weekend before, In not to long was down to 86 degrees and still cooling. I was working in the bilge area replacing the pump for the sinks and shower I noticed that this pump my a/c pump was humming and making noise, I'm online now looking to see if I can purchase a bracket to hold it and make it quiet. I see now that It came with a bracket that I kept but didnt install It's 6-5-21 today I purchase this pump in 2017 its still working great and if I had installed the bracket originally that came with it there would be no issues at all. I'm now going back down to the boat installing all parts supplied and this will eliminate the vibrations noises it has because once it started working I just set it in place and let it cool. Anyway I screwed up pump is great, I LOVE IT

yacht air conditioner fixed!
About 5 years our yacht air conditioner worked well. But a few months ago, pump stopped. At that time the pump body was very hot. After several checks, I desided to change the pump with this same product. Changing the pump fixed the problem. I am content to fix air conditioner by myself with this pump.

Not for marine use
Two years ago, I had this pump installed on my Catalina 387. Last month, it failed. The stainless steel housing cracked and spit in two places, oil spilled out and the motor seized. I asked a local expert (in ORIENTAL nc). He said these motors can’t stand up to the cycling required for marine HVAC use. They overheat, spill oil and fail. I won’t make that mistake again.

Replaced the original and it still is going.

No fittings
No fittings to actually hook it up to your lines come with it just threaded ports. Who charges that much for a pump and dont include a way to hook it up? No fittings at all. Now i have to order fittings that fit since none available local. Doesnt state that no fittings are included. So its not sold complete ready to install. Most marine ac systems are a 5/8 line the inlet is 3/4 and outlet is 1/2 on this pump im adding that because it doesnt tell you that in the description.
