Type 4 hair and this brush glides so well with my hair. You’d think because the teeth a spread wide that it won’t detangle an entire section; I kid you not I was able to brush a large section, and after I went it with my fingers and separated at every point possible and it was all detangle, even little small sections and just opening them; it fully detangles my hair. If you’re torn between this Unbrush (Plus) and the original and you have type 4 hair, please know that this is so much better. I believe the teeth may be longer and maybe more spread meaning large sections! And you know that means so much for us type 4 girlies with thick hair; getting through large sections equals less time spent during wash day. Great value for money, high quality and sturdy brush. The teeth bend so that it glides with the hair unlike a denman brush or even a tangle teezer. It’s so flexible so it doesn’t snag the hair or any knots; it doesn’t rip through, it stops at the knot. Would highly recommend.

With my coarse hair, I have tried many detangling brushes and swore by Tangle Teezer for years, but the UNBrush is so much better for my hair, more hygienic design and much easier to clean. Detangles my hair easily, smoothly, with no pain and with minimal shedding. The bristles are more effective and good quality. Affordable and versatile for wet hair, dry hair, detangling or simply styling.

i have very tangled hair, this barely hurts even when i have the most matted curls and detangles very well. best brush ever

This brush has finally made me willing to truly detangle my hair instead of combing it until I get tired or I feel like I've pulled too much hair out and want to stop. Very durable and can be rinsed instantly due to the dents which is why it is my go to shower brush instead of the Denman because water doesn't get trapped. I feel very little pain when using this brush as long as I use enough water while detangling (typically I like to detangle under running water). Super lightweight, my hand barely registers the weight at all.

Miracle brush. I’ve always lost so much hair when detangling my 3C natural hair waist length. This is genuinely the best brush I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend enough. What was 2.5 hours is now 15 minutes.

Works really well I really enjoyed the brush it was very easy to brush through my nots and massive reduction in hair loss, this brush has helped my journey to regain my healthy hair.

Buy this if you have think afro hair type!!! Perfect detangling product. Strong bristles with minimal pain for sensitive scalp. Very easy to use.

I've been using a wide tooth comb to detangle my 3B/3C hair, and there are times where my scalp is tender and it hurts. I literally heard about this brush on Saturday, ordered it, and got it today. I used it in the shower with conditioner, and not only did it take half the time to detangle, but my scalp wasn't hurting at all. I'm not a hair guru and don't know much about hair tools, but this brush definitely works!

Does a good job detangling but is not very heat resistant. Got deformed after a first use with my blow drier.

Its ok, a bit too soft for my stubborn curls but it does the job
