Great kit. Perfect replacement for a Weed Eater Featherlite carb and fuel system
Had a Weed Eater Featherlite or some such for years. Dirty, never did much for it except put gas in it and occasionally added new trimmer line for the trimmer head. Needed adjustment, though as it had become dirty and hard to keep running. So I went looking for the black, screwdriver-looking adjustment tool. Well, that brought me to this kit: a new carb, gaskets, fuel line AND the adjustment tool. SOLD!!!Perfect match. Easy replacement. Watched YouTube to find out how to adjust the Featherlite whacker with the tool for smooth, powerful operation and reliable idle. Pretty easy. Now, with fresh gas, the Featherlite starts easily, is more powerful, and idles well. All of this for under $20. It's like I have a new trimmer. Very pleased with the kit.

Mailed from China, unusable adjustment tool renders it useless.
1) I specifically searched for one that didn't say it was being shipped from China however this did come via china post, would have been happy to pay for for a donesticzlly sourced one.2) I purchased to avoid spending time tinkering with the old one hoping for a bolt on and adjust solution. The new adjustment tool does not fit the new carburetor, but it does fit the old one. The weedeater would not run with the new carburetor on so I ended up disassembling the old one, cleaning and reinstalling the old one to still no avail. I ultimately had to use a Dremel to cut slots in the new carburetor adjusters so they could be adjusted with a flat screwdriver, run them all the way in and back each out a turn or so to begin adjusting it. Finally got it to run with new carburetor and my modifications but it really defeated the purpose of my purchase because I ended up spending the same time if not more time (and $) than what I could have with a locally sourced rebuild kit. Only reason it's not a single star is because it's running now.

Old trimmer now like new
I had an old Weed Eater trimmer that I hadn’t used in at least five years. Decided to see if I could bring it back to life. Saw this kit on Amazon and decided to spend the $20 and test my skills refurbishing the trimmer. Best $20 I spent in a long time. Directions were easy to replace and clean the unit. It started within 4 pulls. Highly recommend!

It's true!
It's True!A buddy gave me one of his nonworking weed wackers. The filter and carb were all gummed up really bad from sitting for a couple of years. probably would cost more for the carb cleaner and new gasket. I thought I would be tinkering with this for a while but it only took about five minutes to replace gasket, filter and carb. Put premix in and it started right up. A little adjustment with included tool and was out in the yard within minutes. This weed wacker is about $200 dollars new. This experience has increased my confidence to find and fix other 2 stroke machines.

Worked fine in a Poulan 1500 (2008 model)
The carburetor bolted on and the trimmer started and ran as it should. The kit came with 2 gaskets, new fuel lines, a fuel filter and foam air filter inserts as well as a spark plug and a spline driver tool. Everything is generic but still did the job. This replaced the original Walbro WT670.

Carb doesn't stay in adjustment
This carb went on an older FL25 weedeater that wouldn't run longer than a few seconds. Install was easy but the choke lever interfered with the airbox. Since the OEM choke was integral with the airbox, I snipped the lever of the choke off of the carb to use the OEM one. It comes with plenty of fuel line, a filter, gaskets, and a sparkplug. The sparkplug was the wrong heat range but would probably still work. The carb itself works. A little bit of adjusting using the special adjustment tool it came with had my weedeater running great. The only thing keeping it from a 4 star review is that the adjustment seems to creep. It runs great but then it slowly works itself out of adjustment and bogs. A quick turn of the screw and you're back in business. So I now week whack with that tool in my back pocket

Why clean an old carb?
Got the fx26s weed eater going again! My second one I ordered for another weed eater trimmer I found in the trash. The second one was easier to adjust after reading online to close both high and low jet all the way, then open them both up 1 and 1/4 turn. Pump the new bulb about ten times to get the fuel flowing. Started right up on the first pull! Got it warmed up to running temp and then fine tuned the high and low adjustments.

Fantastic kit!
Bought this for a 11yr old Weedeater Featherlite FL26. Installed the carb, gaskets, new fuel lines, and spark plugs. Made some fine adjustments with the provided tuning tool.It now runs like new!Overall, fantastic kit for the money.

Cheap.
The adjustment screw driver is different from the heads of the needle heads, therefore is useless. When I opened the box a very small ball bearing fell out, and I have no clue where it goes
