Syntax Handbook Everything You Learned about Syntax -- but Forgot

In Speech and Language Development course right now as a graduate student and was recommended this textbook as a supplementary guide for revising syntactic rules, so far it’s been helpful.

It served it’s purpose but their are typos in it and in some of the chapters there is confusing descriptions to the point that the professor had to give answers to some of the questions in the book

A great resource for SLP students. Well-organized with helpful examples. I bet the chapter exercises would help strengthen the concepts and terminology (now I wish I had done them!). The developmental norms are icing on the cake.

This book has helped me during my sessions and teaching grammar concepts to my kiddos during therapy.

This book is packed with useful information. It's an easy read, provides excellent examples, and practice exercises. I refer back to it often to verify syntax form and function questions. It is a must have for anyone who speaks and writes the English language.
