I added a 100 foot internal loop. Twisted this cable by hand to have it not transmit when traveling from the outer to inner loop. This cable is copper coated steel and is stiff and one solid wire. The additional loop works fine. No issues.

Quality material easy to work with

I went with the 14 gauge instead of the standard 16 that comes with the kit because I have a lot of wild critters who like to chew on wire. Figured it would take more than one chomp to get through this wire. So far it’s been working amazingly! The black blends in better on the fence than the yellow did. I went with the above ground and mostly on the fence install. Easier to spot broken wires.

This transformed my robot automower's reliability. Gophers chewed through my other wire fairly frequently but 4 months in to using this wire- no cut cords at all. One install and done, worth the price of copper!

This works great for an underground fencing barrier for all size dogs.

Satisfied with perimeter fence, it is what I expected. Disappointed to find that wire splices were NOT included despite them being advertised in the product description. That was a selling point for me instead of having to buy separately. I contacted the company, will see what happens and will update this review accordingly.Update: great customer support, sent splices quickly after I let them know.

Solid wire dog fence makes it a little bit hard to bend. I bought it to mend current breaks in wire that is multi strand. Would prefer the multi strand for ease of use, but the solid wire does get the job done.

I only needed a short run so I wish I could have gotten it in a 25' length. Other than that, wire works as advertised and seems to be well manufactured.
