Can’t vouch for the taste personally, but my chickens can. They LOVE them! Makes it much easier to call them in to their run (they free range) if they know they have these treats to look forward to munching on.

While I am sure my chickens will love these when or if I give them to them in the morning, I’m not so happy right now. The bag that the calci worms came in was flimsy and had a hole in it. The bag was inside the Amazon box. When I took it out of the mailbox, I did not notice there were fire ants all over the box. I opened the box and it was full of fire ants. I tried to salvage the bag since I paid $30 for 2 pounds. I am now sitting here in my den doctoring all the bites on my arms and legs. My chickens may or may not get the worms, depending on if the fire ants leave. Because ants like calci worms and mealworms, the packaging needs to be strong and secure.

Our wild birds eat these fatter American worms with much less waste than we had with the skinny china grown worms that we used to buy. There were almost no powdery broken pieces in the bottom of the bag. No sign of fire ants nor any tears in the bag that we received. We are buying more today & wish that there was a 3 or 4 lb. package of USA worms.

Finally, something grown and sourced in the USA. I refuse to buy Chinese products that enter my families food supply, and this is one of the few companies producing them in the USA, support great companies like this.

These are NOT made/grown in the USA totally false advertising! Shameful!
