Honest Lip Crayon Lush Sheer - Chesnut Women Lipstick 0.105 oz

I love everything about these crayons! Goes on so smooth, the color is so pretty and there's no scent. The only thing I'm not happy with is the cap doesn't snap on. It just slides on and doesn't stay on very well. I wish there were more colors.

I bought the color chestnut after watching an Instagram video of Jessica alba wearing the same color, and I love it!! It’s a very pretty color with a good amount of pigment. It softness my lips, has no smell and makes the little wrinkles on my lip smooth. I love it!! I will buy coral and other colors to add to my collection. Plus it’s great that there’s no harsh chemicals that you put on your lips or that you potentially eat it!

First, I'd like to point out that these are supposed to be sheer (hence... the product name). I'm seeing some low ratings that the colors are too subtle. If your are expecting an opaque color, these are definitely not for you and you should spend your money on different lipsticks. These are kinda like Chapsticks with a tiny bit of color. Also, everyone will look different depending on your natural lip color. I have dark lips so most colors won't pop on mine but will probably show more on pale lips.Second, some other low ratings are because the colors didn't last at all. These aren't supposed to last. They're just lip balms pretty much. Though I have to admit that I wished the moisturizing effects lasted longer.With this said, these lip crayons are suppose to slightly enhance your natural lip color while giving a shine. Also smells good!There are hardly any swatch pictures online and on the website so I'm posting my own for your reference. I also took pictures (with flash) of the lip crayons on my bottom lip and naked top lips for comparison.My lips are slightly dark and naturally mauve with some deep pink undertones. So when I wear these...- Sherbert gives be a pink tint. (Without flash, the pink is noticeable)- Petal gives me a coral tint.- Chestnut is totally colorless and useless on my lips so I might return this. (I've seen a picture on someone else's pale lips and it really gives her a pretty nude brown/chestnut color).- Rose is a beautiful deep red color. (The flash accentuated the rose/pink but it's more like a deep red rose color.)My lips are dry and these don't accentuate my dry lips too bad. I'm also allergic to some ingredients (I don't know which ones irritate me) and these haven't flared or gave me blisters on my lips yet.If you're looking for a moisturizing lip product, with a sheer tint, you might want to try these. They're affordable and ingredients are less "toxic" (no parabens, no petrolatum, etc).These are definitely perfect for someone with pale lips. For those with darker lips, you will need to be more thoughtful about your color choices because the lighter colors will probably won't show very much.Too bad they don't last a long time but it's worth trying.

I use several of the Honesty products and have been pleased with them. I do not care for this lip crayon and will not order another. I was expecting it to be moisturizing, more on the order of a lip gloss, but it applies very dry. As a lip stain, the color lasts but I have to use another product for moisturizing and glossing. It is not "sheer" and there is no "subtle shine."

Not a big lipstick fan to begin with. Ran across this Honest brand & I am now a fan. This is affordable, it's clean & does what it claims. Size is perfect ..like a thin crayon in your purse. The color works for me.

I purchased two colors they came a different time. One was broken on arrived but you cannot return it. I tied using it at least to see it's texture but it didn't work well, and the color is very faint. The second one just arrived (not broken this time.) The color was supposed to be vivid (#4 rose) but on my pail Scandinavian skin it doesn't look like anything but a faint tint ... less than an average gloss. Also it doesn't stay on pass few minutes after the application . not good. Double disappointment

I really like this lip color. It goes on smoothly and feels great on my lips. Lasts a long time as well.

My second order and usually I buy a couple because the cosmetic companies keep changing the lip colors and sometimes it's no longer available my favorite color. Light weight and stays pretty good and no smell.I hope they keep selling this color Rose.

So sheer and a really flattering colour. Feels incredibly smooth on the lips and EWG certified.

Me irritan y lastiman los labiales en general que venden de cualquier clase(aunque son de las marcas de lujo). Hasta Burts bees(creo que por la esencia de menta que contiene)y Almay(hypo alergénico) me lastimaron…ya no sabia que marca comprar. Pero esta marca parece que no contiene ingredientes que me lastiman y tengo ya unas semanas usándolo y todo bien. Aparte el color bonito. Espero que vendan en médico más variedad de colores.

Applies like chapstick, which I don't mind. But colour is absolutely ORANGE, very disappointing for $15 purchase.

This is the exact lip colour Meghan markle wears on her wedding and other occasions. This is the sheer version because they discontinued the even darker version. This lipstick is very very pigmented though! It’s weird when people say it’s not. Moisturizing and nice packaging. Beautiful colour. I’ll buy all the shades. So scent to it either which I love.
