Fits smaller sizes than recommended
I bought these a while back, for my 4 yr old, but we hadnt had an icy day to try them on until today. Although I cannot review for long-term use, I can tell you that:The first thing I noticed is that they fit nicely around my daughters size 8 snow boot (remember my daughter is 4 so size 8 on the smaller side not jr size). Its very hard to find kid-size ice grips; even less-so small ones that fit her shoe size.I also liked that they stayed on the entire time she had them on for (about an hr or so, maybe longer). I was worried they would fall off like her other ones as she walked/played in them and they never did. They also actually work!! My daughter has some other ice grips (the coil-bottom ones) that she slips in (the same exact ones keep my son from slipping), I guess because she doesnt weigh enough to make the ice grips dig into the ice?? Either way, I was worried I would encounter the same problems with these ice grips but she was able to run without a slip.Other things to know:The rubber is jelly-like so theyre easy to stretch onto the boot (she didnt put them on herself this time but with some practice im sure she'll be able to do it herself). The description recommends for a Euro size 26-35 which converts to US size 9.5-2. They fit my daughters size 8 boots (similar design to sorel joan of arctic) and they held fine so I would think they could fit a bulky size 7 boot without issues. I also tried them on my 7 yr olds boot (size 1) and they fit but they seemed to be a bit too tight for this size. Just from seeing the tight fit on the size 1 boot I dont think it would fit a size 2 boot unless its thin like a rain boot;but then again I didnt try it on a size 2.So far, i love everything about them and i would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting ice grips for small children.I hope we can get many uses out of them so that I can keep recommending them.

Fantastic product!
I bought these for my 4 year old twins to wear during our winter hiking at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The rest of the family has a larger version and these are comparable. We hiked in snow and ice on the first day (around 22ยบF) and slush, snow, ice, & mud on the second day (around 40ยบF) and there was only one fall. The are perfect for my kids' size 10 and size 11 winter boots. I highly recommend these crampons! The only downside was that they were more expensive than the adult version, but they are worth every penny.

Shipping Took Forever But WORTH IT!!!!!
Okay so I ordered these like.....beginning of January and literally just got them 3-ish days ago (its FEB 27). I know they shipped from China and they were closed for the new year. I actually communicated with the seller a few times and attempted to cancel my order because I didn't think they would get here before the winter was over and I am SO glad I didn't cancel it. These are absolutely great. We live in the mountains, spend a lot of time outdoors going for walks in the winter and our driveway is always a sheet of ice, the streets are always icy, etc. They fit a young Childs boots great - shoe size 10/11. Also bought a pair for my smaller child - shoe size 7/8 and although they are big, it looks like I can take a few of the chain links out and shorten them as needed. The shipping took forever but these were overall a great purchase. I haven't found ice cleats for young children anywhere.....and Ive been looking since last winter!

Is your little one a hiker? This is a must!
My son is 3.5 years old, size 9/10 in US toddler size shoes. Winter is finally upon us in the lovely state of Utah, and after a little bit of a scary slip on a trail despite my presence, I decided to research crampons for a toddler shoe size. Prior to my purchase, I was told that crampons the size my son would need doesn't exist. When I heard that I thought to myself "mmm, let me check out amazon" I'M SO GLAD I DID!!!!!Also prior to purchasing these, I read the reviews and took the low star reviews into consideration. So when I officially went to purchase I had low expectations. These crampons were bought towards the end of December, and had multiple uses in January on various trails ranging from easy to difficult. After multiple uses that totals up to over 25 miles worth of hiking I can definitely say these crampons are durable, and very sturdy thus far. We have a few more months worth of winter, and I am so pleased with this product that I look forward to making the most of these crampons with my little one! Yay!! --to no slips or sliding on slippery inclines.Pictures are from a couple of trails out here.

LOVE these for my 3 and 5 year old!
We live in Alaska and I searched EVERYWHERE for actual ice cleats for my small kids. We have a very icy backyard and it made going outside just miserable for them. Now they love it and the crampons stay on their feet and allow complete grip. They actually somewhat complained that they can no longer go "Shoe skating" in the back yard. My 3 year old wears a size 8 and they just barely fit her. One will kick off every now and then but still worth it. My 5 year old is a size 11 and it fits him perfectly and I can see that lasting for another 2 or 3 sizes at least.HIGHLY recommend!!!

Worked great for a glacier hike. Love these! Fit my size 10 wearing (5 year old) and size 1 child boot (7 year old) perfectly. Seem durable enough!

Excellent for Price, Made for Little Kids Boots
These are excellent for for the price, but are for LITTLE KIDS boots. My sons ages 8 and 10 wear boys (not little boys or toddler) boots size 4 and 5 and these barely fit, but they worked well. They would probably fit boys boot size 2 or smaller perfectly because they are stretchy. If you have kiddos with larger boot sizes you could probably buy a set of medium Sharkmouth ice cleats (I bought those for myself and they also fit my boys boots.)
