This item was placed over top of an old product. This page used to sell screen protectors which had been given a higher star rating. When they "updated" the information, they changed the product, but kept all of the reviews, giving this splitter the stars that the screen protectors had. The splitter does NOT work. It's as simple as plug it in and go. There are no instructions. It simply does not work. Only one Ethernet cable can use the splitter line at a time but you can not even use one at a time if the other is second cable is plugged in. False product reviews. Terrible product itself.

I use the adapter for splitting access to the RJ-45 connector. Works well.

While it can only support one device at a time it sure saves on running another cable!

I bought this to be able to hook my computer up straight into the cable box with router also hooked into the modem. Sadly this will not work. The splitter does work if i plug it into the router but will not work as the cable company told me it would. I cant split the MBPS with this straight from the modem so its a worthless piece of equipment.

Does not work well slow speed and data transfer. I do not recommend

I expected this to divide one ethernet feed into two feeds, it did not.
