Good product but needs some TLC
Well made and good price, however the maker used a preservative that dried out. Could not loosen the screws or make the halves move. Believe it or not, I soaked this set in diesel fuel for almost one year, and now I can remove the screws and use a soft mallet to move the sliding halves. Now my set works just fine. I think in hindsight, acetone or even gasoline would work faster to dissolve the preservative.

Excellent quality parallels but case came ripped!
Would give 5 stars but case came ripped. Tried to mention in order thingy but only option for missing/broken items was return and I don't want to have to do all that. If another case only can't be sent I'll tape it up and wont lose sleep over it(prob will still give 5 stars even, I just put less in hopes someone would see this! Love Accusize amazing quality/cost ratio)

Very rough
Low quality sliding surfaces not deburred, stick badly. Cheap locking screws strip easily

They aren't perfect, but for what I do in my homeshop, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
As has been mentioned in previous reviews, some cleanup is going to be required to get the most out of these. Once you put the work in to cleaning them up, they work fairly well, and I put them on the surface plate to find that they are within 5 tenths (0.0005) across their length, which is close enough for the homeshop.Remember that you get what you pay for. The quality of these is pretty much what one can reasonably expect when buying the cheapest generic set of adjustable parallels you can find on Amazon. If you need TRUE precision, then you should save up and buy something from Starrett or better, noting that it will cost you 3 or 4 times what these sell for.

Full of grit
Pretty sure they would run better if the factory would actually wash the grit out of them. The machine work was super rough also.

Mediocre at best
Forget grinding residue. Two of them had rust in the tracks, but they actually slid better than the clean ones. The dovetail is very rough (more like a casting) so they don't slide well. Nothing about the fit/finish is impressive (even the grind job is pretty coarse). Parallelism seems good (+/- .0005) but they need to be cleaned and lapped. Compared to Starret they are horrible. Compared to General they're still inferior. For hobby work they would be okay. They used a mix of Philips and straight slot screws.

These are just so-so, but OK for hobby use
Previous people have noted that these are full for debris and shavings. That has not changed. The cause is that they are assembled, and then ground. They are obviously not disassembled for cleaning and deburring after grinding. In order to have these usable, the buyer must take them apart, clean out all the grinding dust, then knock off the burrs and sharp edges with jeweler's files. I haven't done lapping that yet, but running them against each other with a bit of lapping compound might smooth up sliding action of one half to the other, which remains rough on my set. I overpaid for these, thinking that this set might not come with all the problems of the cheaper ones. So save your money and get the cheaper ones. And if you are a serious machinist, skip these entirely.

Minor shipping damage
The plastic case was all broken and separated in the pockets for the two largest parallels. Either poor packaging or inadequate design for the case. Parallels themselves seem OK.

Très bon produit
Nettoyer soigneusement avant utilisation, très polyvalent.

Soft metal
Like others here these came gritty and with some rust or other contamination in the dovetails. And they needed deburring. One was overly loose and the screws would not tighten them. Oh, that's another thing. The small cross head screws are very soft and the crosses strip out easily Be sure to replace the screws. To see if I could spring it in dovetail of the loose parallel I tried squeezing it a little in the vise. A little turned out to be a lot since that is when I found out that they are made from very soft mild steel. As in while trying to bump the other side out with a brass hammer when it stuck due to the sudden easy over- pinch the end burred up. I realized that the one piece was ruined at that point so I struck the side with the brass hammer moderately and it left a dished dent in the side of the steel. Very soft mild steel for sure. The only reason I gave the stars I did is that the other sizes work and checking for parallel showed that they are very good for size. Only one was about .0003" wider on one end and the others were all at or under .0002.If the set were more like $30 to $50 I could accept the soft metal. But at $90 I expected at least a reasonable alloy with some spring like toughness to it. I have four other Accusize tools and those others are all excellent. So this set was a let down.

Fakes!?!?!
Think these are fakes. Nowhere does it have the Accusize Brand Name on them. Also very poor quality and came rusty.
