Best circulating fan on the market
Extremely low energy consumption, quiet, seems durable. After purchasing this fan a about 3 months ago, I purchased five more. The first fan I purchased has been on for 3 months (24/7) on mid setting speed #6. It is barely audible. I use this as well as the other 3 fans to circulate air in my 3700 sqft, 3 level home with cathedral ceiling (20 ft high). My need was to mix the hot air trapped near the ceiling at the same time disperse humid air coming out of 2 high capacity humidifier (10 gal of water per day) during winter heating as well as high capacity whole house dehumidifier during spring/summer/fall cooling a/c season. It came to me as a major surprise that more than 90% of energy efficient homes have extremely poor air quality within the house largely due to lack of air circulation within the home and lack of outside air brought in to dilute the pollutants buildup due to tightly sealed energy efficient house. Bringing outside air without spending a fortune on duct work etc was to open the front or backyard door for a minute or so few times a day. Circulating the air was a major expense in thousands. 4 of these fans have worked even better then the results I would have got after spending all that money in duct work. My entire house is at uniform temperature and humidity and the most important part no noise and the feel of light breeze all day long. No need to blow high velocity of air to feel cool. Actually light breeze feels great even during winter heating season. My friends took two of the total 6 fans I purchased and she is loving it. Took a little while to mentally adjust to the idea of not blowing high volumes of air but instead just circulating air 24/7. I did the math and it costs me less in electricity by using all 4 of these fans at speed 4 to 6 (depending on ceiling height) 24/7 then the heat/air conditioning unit blower fan for 3 hours per day.

Fan Quit Working After 3 Months (update) they replaced it under warranty
I too purchased my first fan through Costco and loved it for all of 6 weeks that it worked, then it started to randomly shut off. I returned it to Costco. Hoping it was just a fluke and since I really liked the comfort setting I purchased another fan from Amazon. Now it is 3 months later and it is shutting itself off again. I am truly disappointed with the quality of this fan. I really wanted it to be dependable. UPDATE I have since spoken with GreenTech and they were very helpful in replacing my fan, they said it was covered under their 2 year warranty . I now have a new one and am very hopeful that it will be the one that works perfectly. I did not want to give up on this fan because its the only one i have come across that has a setting that feels like a spring breeze (comfort). Love it!!!

Fan quit working after only 2 years.
Really superior positioning and circulation options, especially the variable option. Quiet, and excellent for Bedroom. Just wish it would push more volume, but then perhaps it wouldn't be so quiet.Update. Fan just stopped working. After less than 2 years. So disappointed.Edit: I have really come to love this fan. With the remote control it is super easy to control the airflow in a room, I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend it highly.Edit 2: I think I've had it close to a year now and it's still running like a champ.Edit 3. So the lights are on,. but no one is home. that is: the lights come on and it makes noise, but there is no movement at whatsoever. I called the company; they requested that I send them a proof of purchase, which I did, so now I await their return call. Stay tuned.Edit 4: AmyC from Greentech never called back, so I called them. Got someone else on the phone and they promised an email--not even a call. I fear this company is perpetrating a massive fraud. I feel terrible that I gave it such a great recommendation :0[

Works great
Unboxed it and put it together following the printed instructions and the video. Assembly was easy and took about 5 minutes. Plugged it in and nothing works except the beep on the remote/unit. No oscillating or blade movement.Edit: Returned it through Amazon and replacement came quickly. A breeze to assemble. The multiple oscillating patterns really help to move air all over the room. Only downside so far is the loud beep it makes when you change any settings but that’s not annoying enough to really complain about. So far it’s a good buy.

Don’t waste time researching competitors!
I’ve never paid this much for a fan. In fact, I talked myself out of it and researched other options. As I recall, one was American made and one or two were Chinese of course. There were enough minor negatives about them that I went back to GreenTech and bit the bullet. Boy am I glad I did! Even my husband, notorious for being cheap, is glad I bought this! There is no need to repeat other positive reviews here; however, one attribute I’ve not seen mentioned is how useful the remote is for disabled people.8/2021 We've had this fan 2 years and still love it. Runs like a top while being the most quiet fan I've ever had. Remote control is still using the original battery. So get it and do what my husband does: he does a lot of yard work and has our old cheap (loud) fans outside in the garage and, weather permitting, in the yard. When performing a relatively stationary task, he works with the fan blowing on him then rests in the shade in a lawn chair with one of those old fans running. He's got a system all figured out!Back to the Pureflow fan, I would love for the designers to create a model with a more vintage look. The current design is sleek and modern but some of us get a kick out of fans with a less modern look.Hey, Pureflow, are you listening?

Stopped working after two years. (Only used a few times)
Update: Like many other reviews, my fan stopped working after only two years. It wasn’t even used that much. It’s not worth the money if it stops working after only a few uses.Original post: I like this fan so much that I bought two more for other rooms in the house. It's quiet, has good air movement, and I love the different angles the fan itself can rotate too. Worth the money.
