My elderly cat starting having problems using a traditional litter box. Although he is healthy and mobile maybe there is some arthritis or discomfort. After trying several different type litters/boxes, the pee pads were the only solution. It took a week or so for him to use pads consistently (especially to use the same one more than once--its absorbent enough to be left in place all day for a cat), but now he does every time. Easy to clean up, and because there is odor protection there is no urine smell. I have 2 pad trays for one cat and change pads once every day or two. My cat still does the pawing trying to cover up the urine spot, but no problem with the pads tearing so far. The corner latches for the pads hold it in place well. But the latches are small and require very close contact with your fingers. Occasionally urine seeps under the side of the pad, but plastic frame is easy to clean by rinsing w water. PADS - the ASPCA Ultra Absorbent Training Pads are a good value and come in several sizes and scents. Also Cost-co has a good price. I use about 2 pads every 1-2 days, so a 100 pack lasts about 2 months. If you buy the less expensive pads the cost is similar to traditional litter--and more convenient to clean up.

This has been great having. Before I got this I was putting my dogs pads on a lid for a tote and my dog was always missing the pad because for some strange reason he didn't like stepping on or over the lip around the edge of the lid. Since I received this and put it to use He has not missed the pad once. My dog was never one that would chew on or shred his pads so securing it with the tabs on each corner isn't necessary and I'm glad because I can see that if I had to secure the corners with this holder it would be a pain in my rear end. I don't like having to handle wet and dirty pads and If I had to secure the edges on this I feel like I would not be so happy with it because of the fact that it makes it difficult to remove a soiled pad from the holder. Other than that its perfect for me and my dog.

We use the Costco pee pads which are longer so we have to fold them a bit to fit them properly. My dog knows to go potty on them but I wish the clips were stronger and bigger. He started chewing on the sides so I sprayed it with bitter spray and it seemed to work. The color is also pink rather than brown like the pictures but that's fine. Overall I think this is better than having him just shred up the regular pads by itself. Happy potty training everyone!

Bought this for my puppy, it holds the pads well but the bottom has no grip so if you have a tile or wooden floor get ready for your puppy to move it everywhere.

We have a small dog who is pad trained. He uses it all day every day. We love it and it keeps the pads contained. Recommend to anyone.

Please save your money and the time and just not buy this!I got tired of leaking puppy pads or wind blowing our puppy pads over so I used a weight at one end for awhile till I came across this and had it in my cart for months!! Finally gave in but at the same time I changed to a different brand puppy pads (which are amazing and I’ll never use any other) but anyway I thought this would be the answer to pee ending up on my floor ... nope!!!! This is so much more work!!!Not only to clip each pad you use (if your puppy pees a lot then it’s a lot of clipping and unclipping) the pee now leaks onto this!!! And you’ll have to wash it and sanitize just like I did to begin with but now I’m having to scrub cracks and crevices!!! So not worth the time!I finally found the best puppy pads that absorb especially cause my puppy loves to pee on the edges!! (Glad charcoal puppy pads)I don’t know what you had in mind for this tray thing but it’ll be more time clipping unclipping washing drying etc than you would just finding the right pad!!It may have worked out for others but for myself who has 5 kids, 5 grandkids, 3 pets, a private home day care and a craft business I do not have time in my day to constantly upkeep this... I went back to putting a paper weight on one side of the pad and now use a better absorbing pad for leaks...trial and error!

I raise puppies for a rescue. The woman who heads the rescue always offers me pee pads but I rarely use them because the puppies often think they are tug toys. They can have every kind of toy imaginable in the puppy pen but often puppy herds will ignore toys just to rip up pee pads. I have a mama and daughter Chihuahuas and Mama likes using a pee pad. I wanted to encourage this but the little one was always pull used pee pads all over the place. I thought of bringing some small bricks in to hold the pads down but decided not to because this adorable puppy could hurt herself if she moved the bricks around. I ordered the pad holder even though I’m using pads that are 20x20. I didn’t think they would fit. Lo and behold ! They fit, even clip in. The puppy hasn’t had success using the pad yet, but she has learned so many things from her mom (other than “don’t bite your mama, don’t growl at your mama and don’t eat all of your mama’s food, little piggy.”) I’m convinced this mama knows what she is doing. She is the best dog mama I have ever met.

We have 2 small senior dogs who just can't make it through the night. Often they'd hit the pad edge but it would still seep to the edge and get beneath the pad. We got this hoping they'd have something better to aim for other than just a pad. It helps if they get the edge of the pad. It doesn't help so much with their overall aim. It's easy enough to clean. Just hose it off. It'll be another story in the winter (freezing weather) when there's no outside hose .

Excelente producto. Fácil de guardar, no ocupa espacio. Tu mascota no hace sus necesidades fuera de ahí. No se desplaza y tiene buena fijación al piso. Ya no tengo que estar limpiando la orina que se filtraba de los tapetes entrenadores, simplemente los cambio y ya me quité de estar trapeando 4 o 5 veces al día. Este es el segundo producto que compro aunque el otro era de otra marca pero son iguales, finalmente. Realmente feliz. Este lo compré de repuesto pues quedé fascinada y quería tener otro por si lo necesitaba para alguna otra área de la casa o para llevarlo de viaje.

The larger size pads - don't fit with excess making it awkward to clip in the corners. I thought it would somehow stretch to accommodate larger pads. Also my main reason for buying was to stop my puppy from shr doing and eating. If anything it looks more tempting for him.

siempre le ponía la almohadilla en el suelo y se movía o se doblaba con el viento o mi perrita la arrastraba, etc. y con el soporte solo la detengo con las pinzas que trae en cada esquina y listo, además de que no le costo nada acostumbrarse a mi mascota que ese era su lugar para hacer sus necesidades y ya no jala la almohadilla, además es del mismo tamaño que la almohadilla regular y se puede trasportar o guardar, pues se dobla en dos.

El material, la entrega, la funcionalidad, el diseño, el tamaño, todo en excelentes condiciones. Estoy contento con la compra. De hecho compré dos piezas, la segunda fue comprada al ver que efectivamente sirve para lo que fue creado. Aunque a veces quieres son rebeldes son los perruchos al no respetar al 100% los lugares establecidos.

I'd say this is going to be a hit or miss kind of product. First of all, if you buys the larger size pads - it won't fit well with excess being clips awkward as you'll have to fold it backwards.Then there's the clip, that supposed to hold the training pads together - the dogs loves it. It didn't last 2 hour on the floor.Pretty disappointed when I have to wait for this item to arrive from the US, only for it to last less than 2 hours.
