This producer knows their stuff!
I planted many, just HOPING a few would sprout.. every single one of the seeds I planted sprouted. Make sure to keep them watered, and don't let the soil get too hot! For germination, don't worry about all the fancy things. Just bury your seeds about a half to 3/4 inches in dirt, water it, and leave it in the sun. After about a month, all of my plants are at an inch and a half in height.Note - Amaranth grows very well in nitrogen rich environments. I tested this, if you dilute miracle grow with water to where the glass looks like it contains the color of a summer sky, a few drops at the base of each plant will have them growing like crazy!I would definitely buy again, and I'll post pictures when the plants are larger. They can grow up to 8ft in height, and I plan to weave them through bookshelves so this will be perfect (and a wonderful method to make tea)!

Love this plant
Love this plant. Start them indoors and move them into a large outdoor pot and give them lots of sun after they've reached 6-8 inches. It's honestly amazing how fast they grow--they take up a lot of space and have huge, gorgeous leaves and blooms. I'll grow them every year.

Nice plant
I have one growing really well, but I blame the rest on my cats.

Interesting Plant
I was skeptical when I saw how tiny the seeds were but after just a couple of weeks, many of them came up. They have not bloomed, yet, but the plants are healthy and strong. I will buy again next spring and plant earlier.

will these seeds grow into large plants?
So far, seeds have germinated in doors to be puny in size. It's still too cold to plant outside, yet.I wonder if these seedlings will become mature plants_ it has been a month and they are still thin and very immature.I will put a few outdoors, even though we are still getting temps in the 30's.The seed packet warns this plant is very sensitive to cold, and not to put out till frost danger is past.

Germination not an issue
After much review reading I ordered the Amarath and a few others. Arrived as described and packaging was good. Planted these bad boys last night and had them in a sealed container sitting on a heat mat for about 10 hours...as you can see in the snap...already have little sprouties. Safe to say germination is not an issue. Did nothing special on purpose as I wanted to see if anyone could achieve positive results. First time ordering from David’s Garden Seeds...will be ordering more.

Low Germination-High Price
Disappointed in both germination and price.
