Beautiful
I love your Solar Eternal Light Cross. It is such a compliment to my son's grave. I went to set it up on Monday evening around dusk. I sat and said the rosary and just as I ended it got dark enough for the cross to come on. Perfect timing. To me Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. I was looking for a way to honor our Lord and my son's life, a gift to me while he was here and our faith.Thank you.Unfortunately, I am sending it back. Not even 30 days. The cross stopped lighting. I checked everything out, it came on, put it back on the stake and went to the car and within 2 minutes it went back off again. Did this a couple of times then gave up. All the way home in the car the light kept coming on then going off. Something is loose. Sorry to say I'm not going to deal with this. I really liked it.

The Little Cross that Tried
I absolutely thought that this was a great Cross. Its light shows up very well out in the country--which is very dark with no other street or home lighting around. The only thing was, the little plastic stake that it has underneath the Cross for shoving into the ground, broke while we were setting it up in the place where we wanted it to be, so it never really stood up well. Strong winds, blowing grasses, etc. would cause it to fall over--it was set up in a field-like area to mark a grave. For a 'more friendly environment' it would do just fine. As long as it stays set up vertically, the rain does not seem to bother it. However, since we would find ours lying down pushed over a lot, while it was down on the ground, the rainwater would seep inside, discoloring it somewhat, and dimming some of its brightness. It is still lighting up, though, each night, even with its compromised brightness & inability to stay vertical. We have had to move it from its location we bought it for, & we now just set it in one of our flower beds close to the house.

I purchased this about 14 months ago after the sudden and tragic loss of my beloved dog. I wanted a marker to place in the spot where he met his end, and this was just right for the job. I laminated a photo of him and glued it onto the cross with his name and a sentiment below and it turned out very well.As it has aged, the batteries are holding up well but may need replacing in a few months. I do see discoloration on the sides and back of the cross, but the front is still pure white. My only issue with it is what others have mentioned: The flimsy stake that holds it broke almost right away. I have used other means of propping it up and am going to try a very strong glue to see if I can piece it back together but it would be really nice if they sold replacement stakes for it. Aside from that, I love it.

Not sure how long it will last
I put it at the Cemetery for my Mother. I like the size and brightness. Not sure how long it will actually last. A little flimsy. The compartment where the batteries on Might end up allowing water to get inside.Time will tell.It did look Beautiful at her Headstone
