Good gift for wife

This is a perfectly good tea but I can not recommend it. How can one justify paying $21 for a box of 12 tea bags? You are paying for the nice packaging. Is it nice enough to gift? Sure. But if you are thinking of getting it for a tea drinker, there are plenty of better gifts for the price. A more unusual tea, for one. And most tea drinkers prefer loose leaf tea. Sure, teabags are great for bringing with you, but there is a plethora of excellent teas out there at that five bucks for a box. This tea is good, but it simply is not worth it and the overkill packaging just makes this tea drinker feel guilty about how much unnecessary waste there is in nice packaging. I happen to enjoy nice packaging, but I guess I need a good enough justification for it and this tea doesn’t fit that bill.

I love this tea but something happened in quality control. As I’m using them, I see several tea bags are unsealed. The mesh is torn and tea leaks everywhere. So disappointing. Waste of money.

This tea has great flavor but not enough to be worth the price. It’s WAY too expensive.

This is a very fancy tea pack. I’d say it’s especially suited to be a gift or for use in an Airbnb or office setting. The box it comes in is very nice and the individual packages are very nice as well. They are a bit oversized which serves to highlight how fancy they are. Then once you open them the teabags themselves are rather fancy as well, silken looking bags with little tags. Very good tea but nothing amazing. Much more about presentation that flavor, but not in a bad way!

The box this arrives is in ready for gift giving and the tea bags are inside cute individual packages ready to rip open and toss in hot water to enjoy.This black tea is rich with a smooth taste profile and a medium strength in 8 oz of hot water. Steep time is 3-5 minutes and I added milk and honey to mine. The flavor is indulgent and comforting and the caffeine helps me start my day.

The Art of Tea English Breakfast Tea would make a perfect gift for anyone that likes black tea. It essential is already in an exquisite black box with a multi-colorful band across the center. Keeping the box sealed tightly until opening is a black rubber band. The packet that each teabag is in duplicates this colorful design and makes one have second thoughts about tearing it opening it. Once it is opened it reveals not a tea bag, but a sachet filled with loose tea. The tea brews up to a medium strength after five minutes that allows for just a little bit of milk, add a little bit of sugar if needed. This English Breakfast tea has a mild taste with a bit of astringency and a tad of maltiness with a balanced blend of organic leaves. It drinks smoothly and makes a great tea for any time of day, however it is a little pricey.

The packaging of this tea was very well designed and looks beautiful. English Breakfast is one of my favorite black tea flavors because of the robust and full-bodied flavor. This tea, however good, just did not meet my expectations of flavor. The description of this tea suggests that it is "a malty blend that brews sweet and woodsy with a clean finish", which is a more accurate way to explain this tea than a traditional English Breakfast. For the price of $21 for 12 bags of tea, I was a bit disappointed in the resulting flavor compared to other English Breakfast teas.
