Highly recommend this for others that want the ink to sit on top of the paper longer to allow easier blending. I also use Canson marker paper religiously to help prevent the fraying off my pens.@kvehrcalligraphy

Love! Water is already in there so get the watercolor effect with less mess/no spills. No need for a cup of water on the side. If you want more transparency however you can add water to the paper either before or after.

They work best on ‘hot press watercolor paper if you are not applying water to them ( one project i do requires no water.. You can add water to them or use as is, depending on what effect you want to achieve. One thing I have found that is very important, you do not want to go back and forth with the Ecoline brush itself as it will peel the paper! I love this product! Carmen

I'm not particularly good at brush calligraphy, but that is why I bought these markers for. I really like them. They are substantially wetter than other brush pens I have used. With a bit of extra pressure they leave a slight, but noticable amount of ink on the page. It dries rather quickly, but it's enough that dragging another pen through it picks up quite a bit of it and carries it for a few strokes to follow.The ink itself is watery and thin, and so it is not particularly opaque, but dark enough to read at a distance (except the yellow). I think that is how they were designed so that's not really a strike against them.

My favorite brush pen ever. I absolutely love the way these pens dry. It gives you the cool effect of watercolor, yet with the precision of a marker.

Love brush tip markers. These are more for calligraphy and not coloring. The color is a bit inconsistent. They are ok.

These do not bleed through to the other side of the paper as some markers do. Colors are nice and not streaky.

Most excellent tool! Colors are bright and beautiful. They blend wonderfully! You deserve to have these in your art supplies!

Got these for a friend, they are nice colours and they work - however they are very dry, the opposite of what they seem to be advertised as! This makes it very hard to do lettering with them.

I bought this set to improve my brush calligraphy skills & wanted to start with the black one but the ink was totally dried up when I came to use it. The others were all fine... a disappointment.

Really enjoy using these, my first coloured picture I was told looked professional.
