SMOOTHIES Velour Scrunchie - Black, 1 EA

I placed an order for two of these scrunchies in two different colors (black and burgundy) believing they were the same style and size. I had to have them shipped to my father in the states who forwarded them on to me here in Canada as they do not ship internationally, and I have been unable to find this style of scrunchie locally. When I received them last week, I saw that one of the scrunchies, the black one, was NOT the larger size/style of the scrunchies *shown*, which was what I wanted and believed I was ordering. Having ordered them from the same page, with the same descriptions and *at the same price*, I would have no way of knowing the black one would be a smaller size (even the photos on the listing show them all as the same large style/size!) - so either I was sent the wrong item OR the listing itself is hugely misleading. Either way, being in Canada - and because this item does not ship internationally - I am not in a position to return for a refund or replacement. I contacted the company in hopes they would rectify the matter for me, but I have yet to hear anything back from them. I am somehow not surprised.Buyer beware. :( You may wind up with something different than what you believe you are ordering based on this misleading listing. I love these types of scrunchies (and the burgundy one is lovely, at least), but I've wasted my money and definitely will NOT be buying from this company again.EDIT: company finally responded and offered a refund. Also, for everyone else's knowledge: "It seems item #00685 (the black one) was produced in a smaller size for one run." and "Please note: Scrunchies item #01776 Chalk, 01777 Purple, 01779 Navy (Blue) are [also] the smaller size (1-1/2" wide fabric)"

This was a re-order so I thought I was getting the same thing I ordered before from the same seller. As it turns out, this order was filled by another seller and the product was inferior to the ones I had purchased before. They were much smaller (about half the size). I don't know if there is a standard sizing for scrunchies but if so, I am not aware of it. This is a case where the picture looks much larger than the actual product. I feel a bit slighted by this. I think I am returning them. I believe Amazon is to blame for this. Re-orders should be from the same seller.

way bigger than i expected & nothing like the picture & also a faded black, not as dark as pictured but it is good quality & feels nice in my hair

This is the only scrunchie I've found on Amazon that is big enough to wrap a couple of times around my hair, especially for a messy bun. My hair is kind of thick but not super thick, and all the others I've bought on Amazon are way too small. I'm going to buy a few more of this in the black and the burgundy one.

I bought this scrunchie in September and I use it all the time I love it! The velvet is a nice touch. Makes it look classy. It is now the end of December and no issues with it.

This scrunchie was a bit too tight. But it is good when you don't want your hair all over the place. Like a gym workout.
