Good Flavor, Bad Texture
These Turkish Delights are from Orange, CA. The flavors are actually great, and the toppings and nuts give it a really premium feel in a lovely tin. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't taste the rose petals at all through the stronger flavors. (Rose and lavender treats and teas are super underutilized in the US; they're really worth a try if you find them.) I learned that I like sour raisins, but that's the one that most reminded me of cheap American candies (think Dots) instead of lokum. The texture is firm and very chewy, which is indicative of cooking it too long or it being stale. Based on the packaging, I think it's the former and it's just how they make theirs. It's not easy to bite into, and I wouldn't try to pop a whole piece into your mouth as is custom. If these were a little softer they'd be a knockout, but texture is half of the experience of delights. Great with coffee, a good gift when there's a birth or death. If you're here for the "Narnia" experience, go for a plainer version with powder coating elsewhere. Maybe they'll be a little softer.

Gateway Turkish Delight
This is what I would call gateway Turkish Delight (i.e. lokum). If you're curious about the treat, but fear that you'll hate biting right into a couple cubic inches of what amounts to soap-flavored sugar gel, this is definitely for you. The price is reasonable, the pieces are quite small + filled generously with nuts, and the flavors (though they sound exotic) are actually a lot tamer than they could be. (Classic lokum is usually flower-flavored, which can register as intensely perfumey.) A couple of them even smack of a softer, sweeter Starburst. Overall, very easy on a Western palate. I recommend eating the pieces in a few bites between sips of strong black tea/coffee.

Interesting flavors
I purchased this because I wanted to try Turkish Delight for the first time. My favorite flavor was the rose one, its taste is so interesting its hard to describe. At first when you eat it you taste one flavor then moments later its like you taste another flavor in the piece of candy. Then I would try another one, to try to pinpoint the flavor then the next minute they were all gone!

A genuine assortment.
Some of the flavors are better than the others. Although I said a genuine assortment, I should mention that although beautifully crafted, there is little evidence that they are truly ‘Turkish’ style. The package does not say Turkish delight, but rather Turkish sweets. Wonderful tin and presentation. It made a thoughtful gift.

No Delight in this Turkish treat.
When my students read the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe I purchase Turkish Delight so they can experience what Edmund, the character is craving. This brand left my students perplexed as to why Edmund would eat Turkish Delight. Most of it "sweetie" went in the trash. It was very dry and not pleasant. If you are looking for a moist Turkish Delight with full flavor, this is not the brand for you. I will not purchase this again for next year's class.

Loved!!!!
I was craving Turkish Delight and these were the best I have ever had! I really loved the rose petal one and wish I could order it by itself. They are all good but that one is amazing and nothing like I have had before!

maybe this is someones idea of a turkish delight, but I've had turkish delight, and this muddy, earthy, gross thing isnt my idea of them. they should be sweet and light, and pleasant. these get the texture right, throw a bunch of nuts in, and get the flavor way wrong. they all share a similar flavor, that is similarly bad. had a bite of each and threw the whole thing away. but maybe that's someones idea of a good turkish delight.

Beautiful with light flavor
I loved the presentation and appearance of the individual pieces—they are visually appealing. My complaint is there wasn’t much flavor for all the beauty. The flavor that was most prominent was the sour raisin which was really tasty, but other flavors were light and non-distinctive. The tin is much nicer than cardboard and giftable.
