Collins 1.25 lb. Forged Steel Single Bit Hunter Axe

Nice, handy little, light duty axe. It comes sharp from factory. No need to sharpen it. It's ready to go! Hickory handle is fitted into the eye extremely well. Probably one of the best small axes under $30. I have Harbor Freight axe of the same size that I paid $14 for. There's no comparison. The HF axe is inferior quality. Buy this one! Get a little crafty and make your own sheath for it.

Gave two stars because as long as you keep it sharp and use it right, this is a great hatchet. However, I got the same hatchet at a local hardware store for 20 bucks, tax and all. This is a ripoff

*please note i did not buy this axe from amazon*I love this little camp axe. The handle is short maybe 2ft Perfect if you want to attach it to a pack. (i use my to split already split oak). Its lightweight yet sturdy. The handle on mine is hickory and can take abuse quite well. I would highly recommend (gave it a 4star rating cause a sheath would be nice)
