Square Flat Mounts 8x8 (Qty 2) Orchid Plant/Staghorn Fern Wood Plaques[WDS004]

Two staghorn fern pups sprouted on one of my palm trees unexpectedly (a robellini). They did well there but I knew I'd have to move them eventually. I read reviews on these cedar mounts and bought two of them. My two staghorns are how nicely at home and growing happily. I added sphagnum moss and some dirt and we wired them on. Will need to give them a bigger home at some point but these mounts are working great for now.

The media could not be loaded. The frames I received were really low quality, but at first I was just blaming myself for not picking good ones thinking I should have looked closer at the pictures. Now that I have come back to leave my review and am taking another look, they only vaguely resemble the picture! I basically received a different terrible product. I already mounted my ferns before I realized this or I would send em back for a refund. They're crooked, the wire bits on the corners are not nice little loops as pictured, there was gobs and trails of glue all over the place, they don't have that nice double thickness edge, and actually there's two less crossbars than pictured.

Perfect for my needs. Mounted some baby bifurcatums on these. Filled 'em with moss, a handful of sphagnum peat and secured the plants with fishing line, Plants seem happy enough for being ripped out of their old pot. The mounts are sturdy with hangers in each corner and came with extra wire to hang with. These mounts should last until the wee plants get going strong, and then I intend to nail them to a larger board when the basal fronds cover these mounts. .

Perfect size.
