For the most part is pretty great. I just wish there was a way to secure the bottom copper colored tube so that it didn't swing so easily so I could put this on something with an angle and not worry about it following gravity. Otherwise it's very stable and sturdy. I suggest not tightening any of the bills until you are sure you have the position right so you don't have to redo the bills over and over to get the spot just right. Looks nice too! I bought a second one for my husband 2 weeks later because I was satisfied with it and the price is great.

Works well except for one caveat...
It is much sturdier than the goose neck versions that I have tried and returned, and holds up my Fire HD10 fine. I'm not happy with one aspect: although the entire arm does swivel at the base, none of the joints allow for an angled adjustment... all of the arm extensions can only be adjusted on one plane direction: up or down. There is a ball/swivel on the tablet holder, so I have been able to make this work for me... however, it would have been 'perfect' if at least one joint adjusted to the left or right (preferably the joint closest to the tablet holder).

Nut missing? Ball joint end has out thread socket and no nut.
It's limited by the lack of a nylon nut that should tighten up the ball joint on the tablet clamp to the arm end. Really can't have arm low and tilt the tablet, a Samsung from Verizon. Was going to use it with my Kindle fire, but this thing has me craning my neck the opposite direction of tilt that I intended this to relieve. The weight of my device concerns me that the ball joint, a bit loose and easy to pop off, will drop it!

good but not good enough
Great concept I love this phone holder but the bad things about it and whoever engineered this, they did not think of the other camera side. I love to recoroed timelapse and use the rear camera. The holder blocks the camera for me to see if the subject is inside the frame. Can you guys come up with camera holder that does ot blocks the rear or back camera?

Will not last long!
This is a review after a year of use, which I had to change my rating due to weakness of plastic and arms. The arms became loose at the joints, had to super glue back into place, but still held up ok with my iPad 6. Beware of tightening the clamp to much, it will snap and break if not clamped on a sturdy place. It finally fell apart this weekend, had to buy a different one, in my opinion, will be good for phones and small tablets.

A must have.
This arm is a must have. It’s great for watching movies while on the couch or in bed, where you don’t have to touch you phone or IPad. I like the fact that you can adjust the arm to your comfort. Not so good for surfing the net because it moves a lot when you touch your device. Over all it’s great!

Product is fine but there is no instruction sheet included with the product. That is not good. The product is pretty intuitive and I am very technical, but it took awhile to see how the ipad mount part fit on to the arm. It would have been very helpful to have a simple one page instruction sheet.

The clamps are fantastic. The elbow joints less so
The clamps are fantastic. The elbow joints less so. It's nice that they lock in position, but there are positions you simply cannot reach because of the discrete number of lock points on those joints. And once you've got the arm in place, you absolutely cannot nudge it an inch or two up or down.

This is ideal for smart phones not tablets
Make sure to take off the case before using this or it will snap. It is also so not stable. This is ideal for smart phones not tablets.
