Custom Modification: Securing a Wi-Fi Repeater. To prevent my daughter from turning on the Wi-Fi at night or whenever she wants to use it when she's not allowed, I modified the Lockabox Mini by carefully drilling a hole in the bottom. This allowed me to pass an extension cord through, enabling the secure storage and operation of a Wi-Fi repeater inside the box. The transparent design lets me monitor the device’s status lights, and the lock ensures she cannot access or power cycle the device when she should be sleeping. The box’s construction made drilling straightforward, and the polycarbonate handled the modification without cracking or losing integrity.
