I bought the red and black yarns to make two cardigans for myself.It is indeed lovely and soft, but the loose fibres make for a very unpleasant knitting experience. I took to keeping a pack of wet wipes on hand to wipe around my nose and eyes when they became itchy and irritated, and to mop nearby surfaces of the red 'dust' that settled everywhere. I've also had to use the sellotape trick to get the fluff off my clothes.I'm currently (stoically) using the black yarn to make a speedier, cropped version of the cardigan with 3/4 sleeves so as to get some bang for my buck, but the rest will be donated to a neighbour who crochets blankets for a pet charity.I'm going to wash each cardigan alone, as many times as necessary, to get rid of all the loose fibres before I wear them.It's occurred to me that many knitters will use this yarn to make garments for babies and children.If so, it would be a good idea to machine wash them before they are worn, to avoid coughing/sneezing, eye rubbing, irritability, distress, and/or general unexplained bad temper.

Nice yarn - soft. Will be making baby cardigans with this.
