These are so nice to write with. Honestly bought them bc I am a big fan of the black ones already and I saw one of my doctors using a blue one. Like any gel pen, they will smear if you don't give it a chance to dry. The color pay off is so worth it.

They skip a little at first. But when you actually write a bit with them, they write fine. Excited to use these!

do not recommend. Trust all the negative reviews,I didn't. I’m writing this review months after buying these pens first of all some didn’t even work right out the package. Some that did were skipping frequently much like everyone else says purples and blues runs smooth. Everything else is horrible. Well, the white is good too. I’ve had multiple pens bust with no explanation. They also squeak when you write, which is like nails on chalkboard sound. ended up buying the pilot pens after this purchase because they were that horrible. Pilot ones are no complaints. The papermate pens that did work were vibrant, but I can’t trust a pen busting in my bag anymore.

Fun pens for writing in journals or for crafting. Nice color variety. The ink is smooth and dries quickly which is good for left handed writers.

A couple of the pens aren’t smooth the writing skips. In one purple pen the ball of the pen went inside the chamber and it no longer writes. I bought another set and the problem colors write fine in the new set. I use the pens a lot so it was worth it to me to get a new set

These pens work great! I love the metallic colors. They are currently being used to tag Christmas gifts..yes I start early wrapping. I haven’t had any smudges but I don’t run my hand/fingers over the ink. I am right handed so my hand never drags across the ink while writing either. These may have cost less purchasing in store but I’m not sure; I did purchase other Paper Mate Inkjoy gel pens for almost half the price of a big chain store office store. They write smoothly.

I asked for these for Christmas. I don't like them. I've used other PaperMate pens and loved them. These do not write smoothly so I have to go back and fill in the spaces that are skipped. The ink pools and it take a long time to dry, or it will smear when touched. Maybe I'll find some use for them, but as an everyday pen I am terribly disappointed. And they are rather pricey to not be usable. I would not buy again or recommend them.

These metallic gel pens are pretty on white paper, are a bit scratchy to write with, and are advertised to write on black paper. They look great on white paper, but they are not as vibrant on black paper as I was expecting. I've uploaded a photo of my experience. I also bought a 36 pack of Paper Mate pens, and used a black one to write the description of what type of pens I was using on the white paper. Functionally, the metallics don't write as smoothly as I would have expected. Hopefully, you can see in my example that the metallic ink has a trail through it as it writes. I didn't buy these for myself, though. They are for my 10 year old for a variety of things in school. She likely won't notice the things that I notice when writing and doodling. I believe she will most likely use these for decorating or doodling, so she will have more time to use them and not be as frustrated as one might be if they tried to use these for work, or dictation, under a time crunch. She likes them, so I would say that these are a good value for my money. As with any gel pen, if you don't use them in a timely manner after removing the wax protective tip, then they do dry out and become less reliable.

The injoy gel pens are my favourite and the only pens I buy, I have many sets ( probably too many) and most work very well. However these Paper mate ink joy gel "Metallic" are not my favourite , the colours are very nice but out of the 10 pens, the purple ( dark and light) hardly write at all, I have tried different types of paper and there is no difference. These were more expensive than my other pens but the writing quality is subpar. If I didn't like the other colours I would return them.

Absolutely love the colours! I’m a pen lover and have quite a collection, and these quickly became a favourite. The colours are vibrant and original, making them perfect for journaling, note-taking, or adding a creative touch to everyday writing. If you enjoy writing with unique, eye-catching colours, these are an excellent choice. They are a bit pricey, though.

None of the pens write smoothly. It could be the glitter? I’ve tried all the hacks to get the ink to run smooth but I threw them all away after being so frustrated with the quality.
