Can't Go Wrong
Been using a lot of different mice over the years, and this is one that, when it wears out, I simply order another just like it. Simple, effective, and with a lot of well-designed convenience features like the switching mode on the scroll wheel, well-designed ergonomics and side buttons, and overall being a perfect size for my hand. Very comfortable for use hours on end with remote work. Very comfortable and responsive for gaming. I'm very happy with the product!

Great!
I have been using a wireless Logitech mouse for years with no issues. Working from home requires a wired mouse, so I bought this.Everything is great, feels fine and i like the option of letting the scroll wheel have continuous scrolling or not.

Awesome Trackball
I've been using the M500 at home and work for years. I used the last one so long it eventually just gave out. The left click had a problem. But It lasted so long with so mush use I still give it 5 Stars and bought another one. Easy to use, easy to clean, awesome manipulation. this is something I use every day on my laptop or all day every day at work. Well worth the money, highly recommended.

Smooth Quiet Mouse
I was looking for a mouse with no clicking for the scroll wheel and this one does that via a switch that turns the resistance on or off for the wheel. My previous mouse was an intellimouse and this logitech mouse feels very similar.I like it.

Precise and reliable mouse
I have used Logitech mice for longer than I care to admit. It's not that other brands aren't good, but I need a computer mouse to work 100% of the time and not get buggy. I have never had a single Logitech mouse fail me. I do replace them when the cords starting getting stiff from old age, but none has ever stopped working. The M500 is a particularly good model. Not the newest, but it's reliable and precise enough for work with graphics.

Size
Maybe some day they will make a mouse for smaller hands but this one is smaller than the man-sized gaming mice and still allows dpi changing.

Great mouse, terrible packaging
The mouse is great so I ordered a second one. This time, however, when I opened the package with scissors I destroyed the mouse by cutting the cord. The wire is not visible; it is between two pieces of paper and it is very close to the edge of the plastic casing. There are perforations and instructions on the rear of the mouse to open it but I did not follow them because I have sliced my finger on plastic like this before so I prefer to cut it away myself. I am not a novice when it comes to opening electronics. I cut less than a quarter of a inch into the package on one side. So be very careful opening this package.

Excellent, low price wired mouse.
Great for the price. Smooth scroll wheel and large enough to fit comfortably in my hand.

Versatile and Comfortable
This is a great mouse! I have used expensive Wacom tablets for years both for graphic design and as a general mouse. Unfortunately their drivers are VERY flakey and I've had no end of problems with PhotoShop and Xcode. I bought the M500 as a fallback and find that I now use it more or less exclusively along with SteerMouse software (I run OSX Yosemite on a Retina iMac).

Pain-free mouse
I made the mistake of buying a cheap mouse when my old one expired, horrible to use and hurt my hand because of the small grip. Changed very quickly for this one and very pleased. Easy to control for fine Photoshop work and so much more comfortable to hold; no more aches and pains.

Very Loose Scroll Wheel
This mouse is fine in every way apart from the scroll wheel. This is extremely sensitive and will not stop moving by itself; therefore I'm constantly scrolling too fast which is very frustrating. It does not have any notches which allow you to easily move up or down by 'one section' if that makes sense. Wouldn't buy again...

I always buy a laser mouse as they are excellent on all surfaces
I always buy a laser mouse as they are excellent on all surfaces. It is a must that the Logitech software is downloaded to reset the wheel speed as the normal setting is too slow. I am still not overly content with the wheel, but it works ok.

First one died within the year..
I'm on my second one, as my other died within the year.Apparently Logitech 'known' for clicking issues after a while - mine had that.EDIT: And now the 2nd has died little over a year. NOT WORTH IT.
