Helps my chronic stenosis
I have chronic stenosis and arthritis that impacts my every day life with neck and radiating pain. I have had two spinal operations including an artificial disk, as well as ablation. I did not want to increase my opioid analgesic medication because of the obvious risks associated with them, but could not find other solutions that worked when the pain feels like my head is going to fall off my neck. I realized one day in the shower that the pain always seemed relieved when I had hot water streaming over it. I tried a microwave heating pad I had, and it worked, but it was impossible to keep in place and only gave short duration relief before reheating. I immediately started searching Amazon to see if anyone had developed something I could use as a heating pad just for the neck. This was the only product I could find that would both heat the back of my neck and let me work freely, so I bought it. The most important thing is that it delivers on its promise. With just a simple 2500mA battery, I can keep the back of my neck bathed in warmth, relieving enough pain that I find I don't need to medicate nearly as often. Its not a miracle product - the pain doesn't disappear; but it does manage to take it down from pain that interferes with daily life to something much more manageable. It is also very comfortable and soft, not to mention easy to use. The pad can be pointed either up or down, so depending on where the pain is I can adjust the position by flipping it around. Extra bonus - in the winter, it really helps keep you warm when you have to go outside. I usually keep it at its highest setting, but as summer comes, I will have to see if I get the same relief at the cooler settings - it might not be as helpful in hot, humid weather. But for the last few months, its been a go-to for me. I only wish they offered a second, shorter USB connecting cord for folks who aren't that tall.

Temperature fluctuates and feels warm instead of hot.
I returned the item because it didn't feel hot enough for me. Curious as to whether it did reach the heat promised in the description, I used a meat thermometer to test. The highest point the wrap got was 112, which is pretty close to the 113 promised. However, it didn't always get that high. When I tried another test to see how long it would take to get to 112 degrees, after 15 minutes, it stopped getting hotter at 108. Another time it stopped getting hotter at 103. Plus, the way it fits, it really only helps directly behind the neck instead of the side beneath the shoulder like is pictured. If you want something warm directly behind your neck, then I think that this would work as long as you have a power bank. I plugged directly into the wall so I'm not sure how long it would last on a power bank.

Compact and Easy to Use
Arrived in a very nice box that can be used to keep the brace in. Quality is similar to what I see with Apple products. The brace is very simple to use - the USB cord magnetically attaches to the brace with a control that toggles between 3 heat settings. I tried all 3 and they offer a good variation. The brace itself conforms to the curve of the neck and the Velcro in the front can hold the brace quick snugly next to your skin. My only complaint is with the length of the cord. The length is fine if plugging into a USB port on a laptop but not really long enough if plugging into a wall outlet right next to where you are sitting, which is what I was doing. Every time I moved even a little, it disconnected at the magnet. Another foot would have made it the perfect length. Will probably use an extension cord in the future when sitting on the sofa.As for its usefulness....I have had neck problems for more than 20 years and at the moment, I have either a pinched nerve or a herniated disc according to my chiropractor. That being said, usually ice is more effective and this brace did not change that. I wouldn’t normally use this for anything beyond just a stiff neck after a long day in front of a computer but just used a neck traction device and wanted to give my neck some mild heat. This did the trick. I don’t regret the purchase and would recommend it for anyone with just a stiff neck.

One of life’s little comforts
I am loving my heated neck wrap. It gets plenty warm for me. I like that its cord is attached by a small strong magnet with a little nub in the center for ease of placement. I accidentally jerked on the cord, and the cord detached from the unit before the pull could cause any damage. It is also really easy to reattach to the unit after detaching because the magnet helps find the attachment point. The magnet feature also makes it easy to detach if I had it in a fixed position like plugged into a wall adapter. However, I am using it with a 30,000 mAh battery that I carry in my pocket. I got a big battery because this is a device that heats, but I used it for about 8 hours (kept turning it on every hour) and did not even use a quarter of the power according the battery's LED lights.A word on the instructions: At first, I thought my unit or the battery was defective. I seem to have to plug the USB-end into the battery, then attach the cord to the unit with the magnet while the battery's LED lights are still on in response to my having plugged in the USB-end. At that point, the circle above the power symbol on the in-line controller lights up red and the power button can then be pushed to cycle through the heat settings which are indicated by the circle changing color. (Using the long press to turn it on like the little tag says still doesn't seem to do anything if it has been connected up for a while first.) The circle is always lit while the wrap is heating.I am using it in my office hidden under a satin neck scarf. I guess scarves will be my new fashion accessory, because I love having this heated wrap. I am usually cold in my office, and having this on my neck almost made me feel too warm a couple of times...almost :)Update: I think something about how I held my neck while wearing this made it hurt, but I have found a new use for it in the COVID-19 telecommuting world. I set up my home office in a cool part of the house, but I found a way to keep warm all except for my right hand which was obliged to stay on my mouse. Problem solved!
