Great beginner PC
Love it easy to set up this is my first PC didnโt know what to look for but luckily found this it plays AAA games perfectly with no frame drop and still runs relatively silent. For the price it is amazing if you are just getting into PCs it will do everything you need to. It does come with a keyboard and mouse which both feel premium with RGB lights in both of them. All in all I would buy this again I love it and am happy to play on it.

Great Gaming computer with great online assistance!
Iโve had this computer for a couple months playing intense FPS games. After downloading the graphics card program and setting up the card, the picture is great. At one month it notified me that the Event Log file was full. Sure enough, thousands of warnings and failures. The computer runs the games at 160hz as set, and handles every higher setting you can set it to. Itโs fast and runs cool. I did crash it while trying to fix an error and messed up. I took it to a shop for a factory image, but it did not work. A full diagnosis later it was said I needed a new SSD. So, I contacted MSI and they told me to get an RMA. That would take 2 1/2 weeks or more. So, after getting it back, I started checking it and found that the WIFI was reporting an error, so I deleted it. The computer would not shut down or sleep. After I did the delete, it started working again. After several more deletes and restarts it was working better, but still had issues. So, I hit F3 and did a complete factory image recovery on it again. It had an issue trying to set it up with WIFI. Quick chat with MSI, and he gave me info on what to do. Itโs up and running perfectly now. Their online chat and personal phone call are great! Strongly suggest you register online as you get 3 months added to your Warranty! Yes, I would buy this computer again

It can definitely hold up as a High-End PC.
Well so far one week with this PC, Iโve had a couple that Iโve built in the past, my last one had a 3060 with a Ryzen5 5600x and 16GB of ram, with no SSD haha, only hdd and no Ethernet cable for personal reasons, but recently I saw this one on Discount and even then Iโll admit it was a bit pricey, but if you have the money, go for it, great value and perfect for anyone who isnโt trying to spend time researching and building one, ignore all the nerds out there, obviously there is always better, it just depends on how much money and time you want to spend, but as soon as I got this one, I pushed it to its limits, Ive been playing games like Fortnite, Battlefield 6 Beta, Path of Exiles 2, Marvel Rivals, and PUBG, all on Ultra settings and getting at least 200-300+ frames depending on game, even while streaming on discord and twitch(and I get 30mbps on average). Can have multiple applications running at once and can seamlessly alt tab from one to another without any delay or lag. Easy to set up, definitely an upgrade to what I used to have, its more than enough for the average persons whoโs trying to switch from console to PC, hopefully this was helpful to someone, Iโll edit and update if anything else comeโs up, but first impressions have been amazing. Plus its definitely friendly for those who want to add more memory or switch ram, lots of room, and the case gets more than decent air flow, it always stays cold and I donโt think Iโll have to upgrade this build for years.

Terrible customer service
If I could write zero starts I would. I received the product and instantly noticed issues with the computer. The computer would constantly give me the blue screen of dead and randomly restart. I used the warranty provided by msi and had to pay over $250 in shipping. I received the item back and was still having issues. At that point I decided to try and refund with Amazon. I tried to return it to ups but Amazon kept giving me the wrong return label. I called and they scheduled a pick up to return the item to their facility. UPS picked up the item and yet returned it again because of the wrong label. I called Amazon back and they proceeded to tell my my return window has closed and cannot give me a refund. Absolutely unacceptable and do not buy this item

Excellent high performance PC
Iโve been really happy with the MSI Codex Z2 overall. It feels like a solid, well-built gaming PC that does what itโs supposed to do without any issues. The case has good airflow, so the system stays cool during gaming and doesnโt slow down because of heat. Performance is smooth, games load fast, and it handles multitasking easily thanks to the fast storage and plenty of memory. I also like that itโs easy to upgrade later, which isnโt always the case with prebuilts. The fans can get a bit louder when the system is under heavy load, but thatโs expected and helps keep temperatures under control. Overall, itโs a reliable gaming desktop that offers good performance and value for the price.

Entry level 4k gaming computer
I bought this computer because it meets the minimum requirements for 4K gaming. The processor is mid-range, and while I could have opted for a desktop with a higher-end CPU, the AMD R7-8700F gets the job done. What really matters for 4K gaming is the graphics card, and thatโs where the GeForce RTX 5070 shines. I havenโt had any issues with games so far and am very happy with the purchase. If you have the budget, you may want to go for something with a better processor, but if youโre looking for a good value option for 4K gaming, this computer is a great choice.

Got a bad one and now a much better one
UPDATE: I've had my replacement for a few weeks now. The PC is very quiet when doing light work on it. Noise picks up slightly when gaming. I did experience some light lag in some heavy load tasks and upgraded the RAM to 64 from the 32 and couldn't be happier. Everything is running smooth and quiet and fast. Have had a couple bad boot ups where it wouldn't get to windows. No idea why, a couple reset buttons fixed it...for now. Only other upgrade I will be doing is adding another hard drive. The system Bought on Prime day. Came in with a sound card issue. Downloading drivers made it worse. A call to MSI got me a restore USB to get it working again. Waited a week for the USB. It did get everything except the sound card working. Called MSI again and was told it's a hardware defect. So,a return is in progress. But, Amazon did not offer a replacement. Only a refund. So I'll wait for that refund and hopefully the price is close enough where I can purchase it again and give this system a proper review.

Great Gaming Computer (But Update the Bluetooth Module)
I come from the Mac side of the world, and wanted to get into PC gaming (I have a PS5 and got Frostpunk 2 and it had horrible studder, and thus began my journey into PC gaming). The PC gaming world is frankly pretty nuts... I'm a techy and was even intimidating for me and decided to go with a prebuild. After spending countless hours researching (youtube tech reviews, AI, and everything in between), I landed on this one. I bought a couple dozen games off Steam (if you don't know about Steam, get familiar), and this ran every single modern game I bought beautifully. Frostpunk 2 that was horrible on PS5... buttery smooth on this PC. Also I run 3 27" 4k monitors and runs them without even breaking a sweat. ONE SIDE NOTE. I think most gaming PC's have this issue, but the bluetooth is frankly horrible (has to do with the radio going through the metal casing). Upgraded it with a TP-Link BE9300 PCIe Wifi and Bluetooth card (it has an external antenna module) and now is rounds this thing out perfectly. I've had this a couple months now and love it.

Decent Value Prebuilt During the Rampocalypse
The system offered good value for the specs, arrived damage free and well packaged for transit. Set-up was easy and while it came preinstalled with the usual first-party bloatware it was easy to clean up windows of all the detritus. The bundled keyboard+mouse were not used but expect the usual freebie quality. Performance was on par for the specs and I enjoyed my time with it but I needed more power and ended up returning the PC. Actual specs: MSI Pro B650-P Wifi motherboard, Ryzen 7 8700F, a single 32GB stick of T-Force Vulcan DDR5 6000 taken from a 64GB kit, a 2TB WD Green SN3000 SSD, RTX 5070 Ventus 2X, an OEM 750W non-modular power supply, Value: Pricing out the individual components, the Z2 came out a few hundred bucks ahead of building it myself. However, the ram and SSD were standout items as they are not the best performing pieces of the system. Single-channel DDR5 isnt as bad as previous generations, but I would have much preferred two sticks of 16GB over a single 32GB stick. The WD Green SN3000 SSD is an okay storage drive from a reputable manufacturer for light use, however it has a poor TBW endurance rating and just isn't cut out for more intensive productivity applications over the long term; its definitely an area where MSI cheaped out due to the DRAM shortage. Packaging: A nice thick outer box holds thick closed cell foam which protects the system from the usual bumps and jostles of shipping. The tower itself is inside a fabric bag witha handle used to pull it out of the shipping box. Do be mindful that the bundled peripherals are on one side of the box and take them out before lifting the tower. A little accessories bag is included the contains extra sata and PCIe cables and the usual paperwork. Performance: Won't get into the details since you can watch reviews for the components but it hit all the expected values for the specs. It is pretty quiet even under load, and temperatures were not concerning even considering the small 100mm single tower CPU cooler. Conclusions/TLDR: Overall good impressions. Good value proposition, generally decent components apart from ram configuration and SSD choice, adequate performance for the specs, personally needed more.

Only 1 stick of ram
Great desktop.... But, I'm extremely disappointed that it came with a single 32gb stick of ram so it's not dual Channel

Great machine, no paperwork.
Outstanding machine. Documentation not so much. No idea how run things like leds in the case, what the buttons are for, what USB ports are what speed, etc. There was no supporting documentation. None.

So brutal
Yeah I really donโt think Iโll be buying anything expensive like this from Amazon renewed ever again. This was a brutal experience, and quite honestly the only saving grace was my refund not taking 30 days
