Great sad movie
The video quality was excellent and I enjoyed this film which based on a true story. Acting and script were excellent. I always enjoy Claire Danes.

Twist and turns, a good lesson to learn
I really enjoyed this movie and actually watched it a number of times. It’s based on a true story of what can happen and trusting everyone. it also covers the story of a good friendship between two women who had to grow up very quickly and survive learning the ways of a different world I definitely recommend it!

What would you do to a friend? What would you do for a friend?
First of all, I’ve never been a huge fan of the coming of age movies. Where the main character finds themselves, deciding on the kind of person they really want to be in life. (Yawn…LOL) second, I love Claire Danes, she’s the whole enchilada. Third I think that for what it was they did a pretty good job. If you don’t mind having questions at the end of the movie as well, then this is the movie for you. I say try it you just might like it!

Good Movie
This is a really good movie about 2 girls that tell their parents they're going on a trip to Hawaii after graduation (I think it's Hawaii) but they end up going to Asia instead and not telling their parents. Claire Danes' character is the "troublemaker" while Kate Beckinsale's character is a bit more naive. They end up getting into trouble while there and end up in jail. The movie tells the story of them hiring a lawyer, played by Bill Pullman, trying to get them out of jail so they can go back home to America except they have some unexpected twists & turns throughout.

Heartbreaking but still good!
I purchased this film because I had seen it a couple of times over the years and simply wanted to watch it again. This review is simply going off my memory of the film since I haven't watched it yet again.It is an emotional film about two young women who were tricked into smuggling drugs out of the Asian country they were vacationing in after graduating (high school or college). These two women were best friends since childhood and ended up being arrested together after the man they both "fell for" packed some kind of souvenirs that had some 10 kilos of cocaine. They didn't even know they had it on them. Apparently this guy had a few other women in line at the same time and pretty much expected some to get caught and some to get through. Long story short, these two women get locked up in an Asian women's prison for life. This is the story of what they went through while in it, and what they had gone through to try and get out. The soundtrack to the film is great.

Spannender Thriller, die Story ist so schon oft oder ähnlich erzählt worden. Es passiert aber in einigen Ländern immer wieder. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Brokedown Palace
Film intéressant sur une situation que personne n'a envie de rencontrer. Claire Danes est très bonne dans ce film, mais j'ai eu un peu plus de mal avec Kate Beckinsale.

je nai jamais vu ca rien en francais sur un dvd sous titres toutes les langues rares mais rien en francaisje connais le film heureusement nul complet
