Fabulous book!

Alas this catalogue is now very expensive.The Amazon ones are priced around $850 so are out of the reach of most.Andrea Palladio. 1508-1580 was born 500 years ago (exhibition 2008 ).He was a prominent architect in Venice and the Veneto. For English speaking people he is known as the father of Pallidianism at Richard Third Earl of Burlington, did so much to champion. Burlington was also a keen collector of material by, or related to Palladio.I live in New Zealand at the bottom of the world. I worked in the UK and came under the spell of Palladio through the effect he had on English Architecture.This book is a major contribution to understanding Palladio. ( I am interested in Palladio , but no expert on him.)The Table of Contents is divided into 40 sections.These trace the life and projects of Palladio and there are chapters on those influenced by himVincenzo Scammozzi ( 1548--1616 )Inigo Jones. Spectacular Photography! A scholarly tome! Very insightful. Palladio's brilliance shines in all his designs. Excellent book!!!
