This toy is so cool. You plug in your headphones and play the drums. Yes you can hear the person hitting the pad but its not as bad if you had a real drum set. This is 100% buy

Saw this first at a toy store on vacation in NC. The kids literally didn't want to leave the store bc of this and the piano. They immediately put it on their Christmas list and I was so happy to see it on Amazon! The kids (8 & 6yo) are definitely still enjoying it and when friends come over they play with it and think it's super cool! We bought the piano too! It's great it comes with headphones, so you they can be played without bithering others! Otherwise you do have to plug into a speaker, which I bought a cheap one off Amazon incase, but so far they like using the headphones. My only complaint is I didn't realize at the store the amount of wires, they kinda get in the way and make it so I don't really like leaving it out. I would love it if they could find a way to eliminate some of them. Also, storage, would be nice to have a case or something for this to fit into, I am storing both the drums and piano in a zipper bag, but would love something a little more functional. These are minor things I know, but wanted to note them.

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She doesn't really like it or play with it that much. The pedals have never worked and the headphones supplied with the kit are terrible. I gave it 4 stars because I sometimes hook it up to external speakers and enjoy playing around with it. I think it would be a great gift if they work out a few bugs. The color codes on the pads are an awesome idea.

Our young drummer was extremely pleased with this product. Personally, I was amazed at the quality of the sound it produced. It was much better than I expected. It provided several options for modifying the sound of each of the pads. Bottom line: we had a very happy grandson!

I got this for my seven your old grandson for Christmas. By the middle of January it was trashed. It made strange, clicking noises and would not work anymore. I’m really disappointed because this was not a cheap gift.

My son is LOVING this drum! He’s learned all of the new rhythms and is perfecting his method now. It was so easy for him to follow the colors. I love that it comes with headphones, so it doesn’t disturb the rest of the house when he plays. Its roll up feature is also convenient because he can take it over to grandma’s house, too.

I wanted to love this product for my 5 year old, but I'm attaching the video so that this review makes more sense. Here are my reasons for the 1 start. 1. The jacks wouldn't work at all to begin with. After trying a few different cables we had some sound coming out of it. Regardless, while my kid try playing they became lose and the soumd was not right. 2. The headphone plugs are located in the back of the set, which means it runs right across the drums, so you really cannot play the drums as the cord runs right across it. The headphone cord should be longer, or have a plug in the front. Same for the pedals. 3. The high hat (red pad) sounds just like static. There is no real sound from it. (See video) 4. When you play 2 drums at the same time a weird static sound comes out of it. You can hear it on the video posted. I expected just a bit more for the money I paid. There were several similar models I could have gone for, which were cheaper, but I paid extra thinking quality will be better. I was wrong. Back to finding something else to replace this one.

Our granddaughter wanted a drum set for Christmas. Mom and Dad said NO! I did som research and found this rool up drum with HEADPHONES and checked back with Mom and Dad and they said yes!! She was so excited and LOVED it! She set it up and played around with it. I'm sure as soon as she reads the manual and tries it out some more she will be playing with ease!!

We didn’t receive an instruction booklet or the music playing colour coded book. I left messages to no reply. My son can use the drums but not in the manner intended.

This arrived in a box that had been opened and taped shut. When we opened it and assembled, the product had clearly been used and the headphones were broken with a shotty repair job. We got new headphones and cleaned it up and it works fine. The product itself works fine, just that specific unit experience was bad. Hopefully it was and/or is the only one!
