Michael Stipe: Volume 1 Hardcover – May 22, 2018

This collection of photos is amazing for many reasons. Michael Stipe has contributed to art, music and film in such a huge way and to get to see his subjects from his vantage point is a real treat. The content is intimate and the composition engaging. It's a beautiful collection and will no doubt be a collector's piece. I recommend his 2nd book, too!

A public figure who was notoriously private about his private life during his band's most influential years, Stipe has now given us an intimate, finely honed collection of glimpses of the remarkable people who shaped him.

Beautiful book

As a massive R.E.M. fan, one who has travelled to Athens, GA, USA to do a fan pilgrimage this is yet another much needed item to add to all the memorabilia collected over the years of fandom. Stipe's love of art and in particular photography has remained with him throughout all his years of touring and performing. Since abandoning the global commodity that was R.E.M. he has been free to pursue his interests and this book consists of his work. All I wish is that I could get it autographed like my copy of "Hello"..... I wish

This is extraordinary like the way Michael Stipe is. It includes just 32 photos. Most of them are in black/white style.

Fotografie interessanti e stampa di alto livello, avrei tuttavia apprezzato la presenza di un maggior numero di foto e pagine. Progetto ad ogni modo interessante di cui ho apprezzato lo stile estremamente minimale.

A genius in the photographic world as well as music.
